* NightmareFuel: In an EasterEgg, Strong Bad [[TemptingFate attempts the "Bloody Mary" routine in front of the bathroom mirror]]. While she doesn't show up, The Horrible Painting pops up behind him in a JumpScare.
** Not fond of Gel-Arshie, the creepy red gelatin mascot? Well, he appears in full creepy fashion in "8-Bit is Enough" and becomes one of Strong Bad's party members. And boy does he still have creepy moments.

* SugarWiki/NoProblemWithLicensedGames: Although most people agree its best enjoyed if you know [[WebAnimation/HomestarRunner the actual source material,]] it's still a decent adventure game in its own right.

* SugarWiki/VisualEffectsOfAwesome: In the cartoon, Homestar, Homsar and The Cheat are only ever seen from side angles, due to LimitedAnimation and their bizarre designs making it ambiguous as to what shape their faces are. They somehow managed to replicate this effect in 3D; look closely and you'll see that when the camera moves, their faces stay at the same angles, even though they're three-dimensional!

* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments: During the Maps And Minions segment of Strong Badia The Free, two characters on the same space normally fight, with the characters on you side losing, but there are two exceptions- one is, if you have The Cheat and Strong Mad on the same space, they will ''refuse to fight'' and instead share a hug.

* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome: Strong Sad finally gets to [[TheDogBitesBack dish out some payback]] on Strong Bad in "Baddest of the Bands" by tasering him. Twice.
** Also, when Strong Bad takes the Trogsword, and later still when he manages to slay Trogdor in his [[OneWingedAngel Ultimate]] form.

* HilariousInHindsight: One part in ''8-bit is Enough'' has Chorch [[VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys changing his AI pattern]], with Browntant saying he didn't know he could do that.

** One bit of dialogue in Homestar Ruiner (that requires watching TV before you would even need to go to the basement) states that an infomercial for the Ab-Abber claims that it can give you [[WesternAnimation/TheLEGOBatmanMovie a 9-pack]].

Added DiffLines:

* PortingDisaster: The PSN editions of each episode are insanely glitchy, most likely in part due to the DualShock controller being a piss-poor substitute for a point-and-click interface.

* MoralEventHorizon: In-verse, Uzi Bazooka's "murder" of Dadgeresque as featured in "Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective". Though the moment is kinda ruined when Senor Cardgage just walks offscreen.

* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: In "Homestar Ruiner", Strong Bad can prank call his own answering machine. The call he leaves involves him making an impression of Homestar saying he's an "attwactive woman" wanting Strong Bad to come on over. Strong Bad remarks that was weird.
