Aside from lying about Vizago’s imprisonment and stealing the ''Phantom'', which are fairly innocuous compared to what Hondo is capable of, he never betrays Ezra and in fact genuinely wants him on his crew, in part due to PetTheDog and in other part due to the PragmaticVillainy of having a [[TheAce Jedi]] on your pirate crew.
