** Hell, the quote on the main page is harder to read these days. While his remark about how men "aren't supposed to love pretty girls anymore" may have come across as railing against political correctness at the time, the eventual reveal about how he treated "pretty girls" in real life makes that remark far more worrying.

** The gags involving jailbait girls in issue #1, such as fanservicey Sody Pop minicomic and Jimmy [[PantyShot making the skirts of a few Catholic School Girls fly up]], were already gross on purpose but become outright repulsive once you realize that John K. was essentially drawing child pornography for his own use.

* SugarWiki/AwesomeArt: For all of the comics problems, the cartoony artwork definitely isn't one of them. The stories are very well drawn and composed (particularly the ones by Jim Smith), are full of exaggerated, fluid and creative poses and expressions, and the lavish inking by Shane Glines is the icing on the cake.

* HarsherInHindsight:
** The fanservicey Sody Pop minicomic in issue #1 is creepy as is since Sody Pop is supposed to be 15 years old, and became downright squick due to the 2018 sexual predator allegations against John K. Same applies to the gag in issue 1 where Jimmy [[PantyShot makes the skirts of a few Catholic School Girls fly up.]]
** There were also letter pages asking for love letters to the artist. The very same allegations makes it hard ''not'' to be terrified by the sight of them.
