* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation: Steve Trevor not being able to tell Di and Wondy apart does not seem possible considering he spends a lot of time with both of them and she doesn't wear a mask, so readers tend to think he may have been putting on a front to preserve her identity or being willfully obtuse out of respect for her attempts to keep her ids separate ''or'' has face blindness.

* ValuesDissonance: ''Romance, Inc.'' despite being aimed at a female audience is incredibly alienating to a modern female audience as it recommends women sacrifice all of their goals and dreams in order to be what the man they're infatuated with wants to marry. It also makes it clear that a woman who leaves her boyfriend or fiance is always in the wrong and needs to go back to him and beg for forgiveness. It's especially jarring since the feature was in the books at the same time as ''Dr. Pat'' which had a very different approach to these ideas.
* ValuesResonance: The ''Dr. Pat'' feature holds up remarkably well over time, encouraging people to follow their dreams and find their own balance between their private and work lives whether they're women or men.
