Again. Broken Base requires at least two sides. That's one sided criticism.

** Even moreso, as the PyrrhicVictory in question doesn't make sense - if removing Future!Aku removes Ashi, then removing Ashi should undo Jack's victory over Aku to begin with - but it inexplicably doesn't. This creates a ton of TimeParadoxes (for example: undoing the Aku-ruled future means Jack will never meet Ashi, who provided him the means to return to the past - thus, Jack cannot return to the past), but the '''only''' effect of these paradoxes is Ashi getting [[RetGone removed from existence]].

* AnticlimaxBoss: Past-Aku. Justified, as Aku did spend the entire series avoiding a straight fight with Jack, the ultimate warrior who wields the only weapon capable of killing him. When a much stronger and more experienced Jack finally slips back into the past and faces a much less powerful Aku who was already weakened, the deed is done before the villain even understands what went wrong.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: The Scotsman doesn't get a lot of time to shine, and isn't treated as particularly special among the warriors assembled to assist Jack. To add insult to injury, he is likely unmade by destroying the future in which Aku rules the universe.

** The BittersweetEnding gets this simply because viewers feel Jack deserved better than a PyrrhicVictory.

Because Ashi's gone. Her disappearance signifies that Aku is never able to come back, as she could exist under different circumstances.

BittersweetEnding. Others like the robots, however, don't receive as much lament, because they always were the designated fodder of the series.
