** And lastly, the fact that all of the above can be combined into one character easily via Sub-Persona. Naoto's main balancer was that she had very high SP consumption and a more specialized than most move pool which can be completely overwritten by just giving her a Sub-Persona with high SP and whatever moves you want. And said moves can easily be an Ailment Circle (tries to inflict it's ailment to the whole enemy side when it's cast and at the end of the next 3 turns, low SP cost making it spamable until it hits), Impure Reach which boosts both her Hama/Mudo skills AND her ailment attacks, Stagnant Air to make that ailment 2-3 times more devastating, and bring it home with a good multi hit move which by the end of the game can go up to about 8 hits which almost guarantees a critical... which gives a boost which means a free Megidolaon. And that says nothing about whatever you decide to do with the rest of your team during this time.

** A lot of the girls' treatment of the boys falls into this - Yukari's treatment of Junpei, which is far meaner compared to their home game, Yukiko's reaction to others saying how terrible of a cook she is, and Mitsuru's tossing around empty execution threats over minor things, such as Yosuke getting startled at one point in the Evil Spirit Club are just a few examples. The worst of it is arguably Elizabeth and Margaret's treatment of Theodore.
*** To expand on the latter, some people see it more as an abusive familial relationship than anything to laugh at.
** A brief scene in the Inaba Pride Exhibit (one that leads to Shinjiro and Akihiko having a competition seeing who can get closest to a fire before passing out) presents the notion that Akihiko has absolutely ''no'' concept of what sexual harassment is. He's confused at Chie for not taking her clothes off due to the heat, and he makes it clear that he's ready to strip down, until Shinjiro steps in. It makes it seem he truly ''is'' completely socially inept, as opposed to simply being awkward and aloof in his home game.
** Teddie's flirting, which is not helped that he does it almost constantly.

* DiscOneNuke: Shinkuuha. A strong Ranged attack that hits twice and deals STR-based Almighty damage for only 82 HP. It's available once your main character can fuse Matador (at level 22), and it can be passed to pretty much any physical-oriented Persona. And by the time skill card extraction becomes possible, money is easy to get, so you stick it on every physical attacker in the cast.

** She and Yukari are similar in many ways, but she trumps Yukari in Luck, which makes Yukiko a viable option to use a sub-Persona that uses Mahamaon or Mamudoon, or she can also cast status ailments. Yukari, on the other hand, only has outstanding magic - her luck is among the lowest in the party. Yukiko's SP growth is also the highest among the entire team, so she can throw around magic without too much of an issue, especially if she's given the Chakra Ring accessory, which cuts SP costs in half.

** A meta-example: The Map. The Jump Scares in the Evil Spirit Club are mitigated by the fact that the player is likely going to be looking at the map at any given time, rather than looking at the top screen. As such, the sudden appearance of the FOE goes relatively unnoticed.

***Festival Dudes are especially tough, which is not helped by the fact that you have to take one on for one of Elizabeth's requests. First, you ''have'' to face them with a party of four guys, otherwise they will keep on casting Diarahan. Even some characters that are male, such as Teddie, Koromaru, or [[spoiler:Zen, once Rei is taken away]] don't count, leaving you with a very limited selection of characters and roles. Want to bring a healer? Sorry, but no Yukari or Yukiko for you! And even when you do gather a party, the Festival Dudes will constantly spam Spin Slash, which hits all of your members for a hefty amount of physical damage. Level grinding is practically a necessity.

** Although Yukiko is not as bad as the above, she's generally inferrior in many ways. Her element being fire makes it one of the more common elements since the P3MC, Junpei, and Koromaru also use it but can use more versitile skills that fit better in combat. Adding to that, she doesn't learn Mind Charge to overpower Mitsuru or Naoto, and her counterpart, Yukari, has better healing skills and wind spells, which makes her valuable in battle. In short, Yukiko CantCatchUp.
