On the other hand, there are people complaining that having an 8-year-old character be the victim is going way too far.

* CrossesTheLineTwice: In the april fools update, Nekoamon's extreme juggernaut nature should normally make him intimidating, but the extremely over-the-top nature of what he does to reach Lucas (such as destroying an entire section of the ground, uppercutting a pipe off Lucas' body, falling on Lucas at impossible speeds when he's below him while he's jumping) make him hilarious to watch. Makes sense, since he's a VideoGame/SyobonAction character.

* NightmareFuel: MX is this incarnate; his very presence is enough to twist the world to become far more horrifying, he's an absolute brute capable of throwing someone into a flag pole hard enough to shear them in half on impact and smash through blocks and pipes, and his general appearance(a hulking twisted version of Mario with empty eyes, darker colors and pale skin) is just disturbing.
** Nekoamon, the Syoben Action version of MX is also rather creepy with a big SlasherSmile and unlike MX, he does not let the player just get away easily, even destroying the ground in order to prevent them from escaping. The JumpScare where he turns red and makes a loud roar near the beginning doesn't help either.

Sorry, but this trope cannot apply for several reasons. 1. The work is only demo at this point and isn't finished. The work in question has to be finished before a candidate can be proposed. 2. Examples have to be proposed to and approved by the Complete Monster cleanup thread before being added to works. 3. One of the rules of a Complete Monster is that they cannot demonstrate love, caring, or compassion. While MX has definitely NOT shown any of these redeeming factors in the game itself, the creator has confirmed that he is friends with Lord X.

* CompleteMonster: MX. He's a DigitalAbomination that resides in a Super Mario Bros cartridge. Whenever someone plays the game, no matter how old they are, MX steals their soul and then puts it inside of Mario character-looking vessels for him to Sadist brutally maim and kill for fun. And it's implied that he may have been doing this for long before he found Lucas if the Toad that MX kills at the beginning is believed to be another victim of his.
