* TheyCopiedItSoItSucks: One of the biggest criticisms aimed at the film from critics and viewers was how it tries a bit too hard at replicating Creator/{{Pixar}} and their films in terms of its themes and setting, right down to having an identical art style. It didn't help that the film came out at a point in which animation studios were starting to divert away from replicating Pixar's style in favor of more unique and experimental styles that have been very well received across the board, making the film's attempt at replacing Pixar all the more egregious. Of course, much of this can be boiled down to the film being done by several staff members at Disney/Pixar, on top of Skydance Animation being headed by former Pixar employee Creator/JohnLasseter.

* UnintentionallySympathetic: [[spoiler:Babe's desire to create an utopia where nothing bad happens]] is hard to reason against, with the counter-arguments being mostly happenstances that could theoretically happen had there only been good luck.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: A common criticism of the movie is that, for its thesis on [[DarkIsNotEvil bad luck not being always bad]], this is rather underexplored. The human world after a blast of it cuts the connections between the Luck World and earth is never seen, and the AnAesop about bad luck's importance comes fairly late and near the end.

The human world after gets a blast of it cuts the connections between good luck, then of bad luck, then gets cut off from the Luck World and earth is entirely - but we never seen, get to actually see it directly, just the colors of the luck lines - and the AnAesop [[AnAesop Aesop]] about bad luck's importance comes fairly late and near the end.
