Misplaced, moving to the correct tab

Added DiffLines:

* IKnewIt:
** Despite Netflix's best efforts to hide it, when Russell Hornsby was announced as being cast for the third season, most guessed that he was playing Judy's biological father, Grant Kelly, which turned out to be right.
** Additionally, despite her supposed HeroicSacrifice at the end of the second season, many suspected that Parker Posey's June Harris ("Dr. Smith") character had faked her death and was still around. When it came time to seriously promote the third season, Netflix didn't even bother to hide this one, both putting her at the end of the trailer ("I thought you were supposed to be dead.") and releasing publicity images of her character. Additionally, she appears almost right at the beginning of the first episode.

Requires Word Of God confirmation

* AuthorsSavingThrow: The Robinsons (Will in particular) treated Robot as a glorified slave [[WhatMeasureIsANonHuman despite his apparent sentience]] but in season 2 one of the plot points is about how Will needs to treat Robot with more respect when he shows his own desires and autonomy. There's also the captain's treatment of Robot and Scarecrow as nothing more than mobile equipment which is portrayed as a bad thing.

* RemadeAndImproved: With great production values and a focus on storytelling, it worked as a serious sci-fi story as much as the original did as a FantasticComedy.

* UnfortunateImplications: As pointed out in this [[https://www.tor.com/2018/04/19/the-robinsons-are-charming-as-ever-but-lost-in-space-is-definitely-lost/ review]], despite the fact that the Robot appears to be sapient, nobody seems to be the least concerned by the fact that Will keeps it as a pet (slavery) and orders it to self-destruct (murder).

Not a complaint about dark tone.

* DarknessInducedAudienceApathy: Some viewers are starting to feel this way since roughly Season 2 due to "Dr. Smith", finding it increasingly difficult to sympathize with a bunch of people that simply can't seem to learn from their mistakes regarding the repulsive impostor. By that point in the story, Smith should've been locked away without anyone being allowed to even listen to her, if not left behind somewhere or ThrownOutTheAirlock, but the heroes continue to fall for her manipulation time and again. It is understood that the character of Smith is an integral part of the show's cast, but that doesn't make the good guys' continuing incompetence to deal with her any easier to stomach.

* PerverseSexualLust: A bizarrely large number of fans seem to find the ''Robot'' sexy, of all things. It got so bad that Netflix's '''official Twitter account''' released [[https://www.indiewire.com/2018/05/lost-in-space-robot-hot-netflix-thanos-pennywise-1201959654/ a video]] mocking them for their obsession.

Not YMMV

* IdiotBall: The heroes keep passing it around every time Dr. Smith is involved in any way. No matter how often her schemes and manipulation hurt or almost kill them, they continue to rely on her, entrust her with dangerous tasks and conveniently ignore their shared history. If anyone did the (horrible but) sensible thing to finally deal with her for good, much of the drama aboard the ''Jupiter 2'' and the ''Resolute'' would stop immediately and the protagonists could focus their efforts on the countless external threats all around them.

** Clearly played with when it comes to [[spoiler:the planned destruction of the unique and irreplaceable ''Resolute'']] during Season 2, which would put the survival of [[spoiler:everyone left on Earth by that point]] at jeopardy. Surprisingly, they actually went through with this one.
