** Everyone usually brings up ''Film/RogueOneAStarWarsStory'' and ''Film/BladeRunner2049'' when talking about digitally recreating the faces of an actor, because they notice it. It's a testament of how seamless X-24 is when he walks around Logan when they first see each other in the Munson house because ''no one'' brings it up

* SugarWiki/VisualEffectsOfAwesome: For a $90 million dollar budget, all the visual effects look great, but special mention goes to Donald Pierce's robotic hand, which, [[https://twitter.com/mang0ld/status/910782015418404864 according to Mangold]], is a mixture of CGI and practical effects. Seriously, watch the movie, it's seamless.
** Also, everyone usually brings up ''Film/RogueOneAStarWarsStory'' and ''Film/BladeRunner2049'' when talking about digitally recreating the faces of an actor, yet no one ever talks about the bit where X-24 walks around Logan when they first see each other in the Munson house ''because it was '''that''' seamless''.

** When Logan sees the X-Men comic books midway through the film, he notes that they're only loosely based on what actually happened, and that he never wore the yellow spandex that the book depicts. [[https://variety.com/2023/film/news/deadpool-3-first-look-hugh-jackman-wolverine-yellow-blue-costume-1235665150/ A promotional picture]] from ''Deadpool 3'' (which is confirmed to take place before this film) shows Creator/HughJackman finally wearing said spandex, meaning what Logan says here is BlatantLies at best.

** The fact that Hugh Jackman's take on Wolverine never got to wear a comics-accurate version of the costume in this or any other ''X-Men'' movie, especially after it was teased in a DeletedScene for ''Film/TheWolverine''. While there are many who thought that TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot by not at least including the costume in a FantasySequence or a {{Flashback}}, others feel that the costume wouldn't translate well to live-action to begin with. There's also another group that would have liked to have seen Hugh Jackman rock the outfit at some point in the movie, but felt as though this movie wouldn't be the place to do it based on the DarkerAndEdgier and grounded tone that they were going for. In Laura's comic books, Wolverine ''is'' seen in an unique costume that seems to be the film series' most comics-accurate take on the suit, remedying this to a degree, though Logan himself is never seen ''wearing'' such a suit. While [[https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/d1/Deadpool_3_First_Look.jpg the first look of Deadpool 3 does show Jackman donning the iconic yellow suit]], it remains to be seen if Hugh Jackman's surprise return in the movie will finally see him wear the mask.

** Fans had expected that a film influenced by ''Old Man Logan'' would be Creator/HughJackman's finale as the character for quite some time.
** Almost everyone called that the hand holding Logan's was X-23's.
** The official Instagram account for the film posted teaser images at precisely 10:23am EST. Many fans immediately picked up on the unusual timing of the posts and began speculating as to its meaning. The two most popular theories were that the trailer would drop on October 23 (disproved -- it was released on the 20th) or that it was a hint at X-23's presence in the film (which had yet to be officially confirmed despite significant evidence for it) because X is the Roman numeral 10, and thus 10/23 becomes X/23. Sure enough, on 10:23am on October 23 a new teaser image was posted confirming that Dafne Keen was indeed playing Laura Kinney.
** Many viewers also guessed that Logan, Xavier, and Caliban would die in the film.

** With fans of ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolid4'', due to both being the EndOfAnAge of a popular character in the source material's franchise for over 20 years. There's also the fact that the serum used is similar to the Main/{{Nanomachines}} in ''Guns of the Patriots'', and that both main characters have a deadly illness in some form that's slowly killing them. In fact, [[SpiritualSuccessor the movie is so similar to Guns of the Patriots]] that even Hideo Kojima himself talked about it.

Miles Morales is the main protagonist of Into the Spider-Verse and doesn't get killed off

* OlderThanTheyThink: A lot of people praise this movie for [[TheHeroDies killing off the main protagonist]], and often credit this film for starting the trend in Marvel comic based movies of having the main character killed off (like in ''WesternAnimation/SpiderManIntoTheSpiderVerse'' and ''Film/AvengersEndgame''), except ''[[Series/TheIncredibleHulk1977 Death of the Incredible Hulk]]'' already did it in 1990.

** A number of ''[[Film/BatmanVSupermanDawnOfJustice Batman v. Superman]]'' and ''Film/{{Hulk}}'' fans are jealous of ''Logan'' for being the only one of the tree to receive high praise even though all three movies share a similarly dark tone.
