** Amongst those who didn’t flat out despise the album, Evolution is this for some. While not without merit, some felt that the the mix of heavy songs and slow ballads made the album feel disjointed and unbalanced in comparison to their previous efforts.

** Their ''phenomenal'' operatic cover [[Music/SimonAndGarfunkel Simon and Garfunkel's]] [[https://youtu.be/u9Dg-g7t2l4 The Sound Of Silence]]! With a slow build from David's surprisingly soft voice and single piano to his trademark thunderous singing combined with piano, timpani, and strings, this version easily does the original justice and then some.

** [[https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=55NJzOSuKuY Are You Ready]], the new song from their upcoming album ''Evolution'' is the same fast and heavy sound fans know and love, but with a new spin to make it stand out from before.

* {{Anvilicious}}: The none-too-subtle anti-fascist themes in the Land of Confusion video. Even Draiman once admitted to finding the video strange. [[AuthorTract Chalk that one up to Todd McFarlane]]. The video for "The Vengeful One" is possibly even worse in this regard, this time targeting the news media; once again [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6CgQGuNK-M&t=8m17s Draiman attributes that to the director, Phil Mucci]].
** Legion of Monsters takes the viewpoint of "[[IfItBleedsItLeads stop sensationalizing mass shooters/terrorists or else it will make more people wanting their 15 minutes of fame]]" and proceeds to beat you over the head with it.

* MisattributedSong: An unusually high number of people believe they did a song called "Killing You Now". It was actually done by a band called Fear of Sound. Sometimes, it's even misattributed to Music/{{Tool}}.

** "The little bitch,she went and she told A LIE!"

* SomeAnvilsNeedToBeDropped: Droppin' Plates can sound stupidly aggressive to non-fans. The song's attitude and total disregard for subtlety is precisely why fans love it.

** Much like "Never Again", "Legion of Monsters" has absolutely zero subtlety on what it's about. It's telling the media to stop sensationalizing mass shooters[=/=]domestic terrorists or else it will make more who want to be famous.

* ChorusOnlySong: Despite Down with the Sickness' mention, Glass Shatters is an {{egregious}} case with "I'm bringing the limit inside you! Stop begging someone to hide you!" Showing up about 10 times.

* {{Applicability}}: ''Indestructable'' is about [[TheSpartanWay Spartans]], going by the music video, but is also a really good contender for a theme song for the [[TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 Imperial Space Marines]].

* EpicRiff: Fuzz and Donegan's 'Db Ab Db Gb Bb Eb' (E-flat drop D-flat tuning) riff in "Down with the Sickness". Also Indestructible, Guarded, Divide, The Night, I'm Alive, Ten Thousand Fists and Inside The Fire have awesome opening riffs. * EpicRiff: Fuzz and Donegan's 'C# G# C# F# A# D#' (Drop C# tuning) riff in Down With The Sickness. Also Indestructible, Guarded, Divide, The Night, I'm Alive, Ten Thousand Fists and Inside The Fire have awesome opening riffs. * {{Fanon}}: There was an old old belief going around that the ''Believe'' album's interlocking religious symbols somehow signified the four band members' actual religions. All that's known is that Draiman comes from an Orthodox Jewish background and that Donegan is Irish (and therefore most likely of Catholic descent). Does that mean Fuzz or Wengren are Pagan or Islamic?

* NeverLiveItDown: Draiman's quite aware of his status as "The Oh-wa-ah-ah-ah guy"
