Fountain Of Memes is for characters, not works that cause a lot of memes, and Narm is for moments that seem funny, but were intended to be serious or dramatic, which doesn't fit here since the video is supposed to be funny, even if it's for the wrong reasons.

* FountainOfMemes: The whole animation in and of itself has effectively become complete meme fodder, with countless {{YouTube Poop}}s appearing in just the first few weeks following its release alongside other instances of MemeticMutation mentioned below.

* {{Narm}}: The short film tries ''desperately'' to seem charming and "cool" to viewers with its constant self-referential crypto humor and bombastic exhibition of Cryptoland, but it almost universally landed as anything but.

** "Mental maturity should be more than enough! ;)"[[labelnote:Explanation]]An [[{{Squick}} infamous]] [[https://twitter.com/widesauce/status/1478816782966136832 response by the official Cryptoland Twitter account]] to someone asking what the age of consent would be in Cryptoland (they would later defend themselves by condemning all “racial or deviant behavior” and claiming that the person responsible for said response was not a native English speaker and thought "age of consent" simply referred to the minimum age needed to visit the island—despite the suggestive winking emoticon and the implausibility of someone who thought the question was innocuous choosing to phrase it so salaciously). Expect it to be brought up pretty much anytime the project and/or animation is mocked online.[[/labelnote]]

No slashing. Pick a trope and stick with it.

* HarsherInHindsight[=/=]HilariousInHindsight: Depending on your perspective, the failure of Cryptoland after failing to buy the island they advertised and eventually shutting down for good during the Cryptocurrency crash at the end of 2022 could be either with how aggressively optimistic and preemptively self-congratulatory the short is about not being a "rugpull".

Added DiffLines:

* UnintentionalPeriodPiece: Following the cryptocurrency bubble's calamitous collapse at the end of 2022 and the entire fervor Cryptoland sought to capitalize on along with it, many now regard the short-film as a perfect time capsule of the crypto bubble due to its exhaustive celebration of the crypto community's internal culture, [[HarsherInHindsight now-ironic optimism]], and ultimate failure to deliver being a microcosm of the whole craze.

** Many of the animation errors have become memes in and of themselves, notably the [[LeftItIn spontaneously moving plants]], Bianca's arm hideously luxating itself when she hands Christopher the fork (especially coupled with Christopher's BadBadActing in response), and the BlackComedy invoked by numerous instances of [[FunnyBackgroundEvent the personal golf carts in the background barreling directly toward]] [[VehicularAssault groups of of people]] before the camera cuts to the next shot.

* MemeticMolester: A lot of people have joked how Connie the Coin's animation unintentionally makes him out to be more perverted then intentioned, from him looming over Christopher with a suggestive expression when he's in the [[PooledFunds De-Stress Room]], to where his idea to get a hardware wallet from a seagull is to try to seduce it in a bird costume.
--> '''Creator/ThoughtSlime:''' ...is the seagull going to fuck the bitcoin? Is that the implication I am meant to take from this?

* SpecialEffectsFailure: The animation in general is a technical Lambo-wreck (even though presenters claimed that former Creator/{{Pixar}} and/or other first-rate animation studio employees worked on it) and thus trying to list every single error would be [[ImpossibleTask nothing short of Sisyphean]], but what really sticks out are the sheer amount of assets that are just flat 2D pictures that characters regularly clip through or walk over; from the Vladimir Club building to ''literally the entire island'' in the opening scene on the pier.

Nearly every 3D asset is also taken from other sources, the main male model being used for Christopher, the waiter and some background parts. Connie also has an issue where his arms appear and disappear at random due to the shoddy rendering of the short.

Added DiffLines:

* UnintentionalUncannyValley:
** Connie's entire design is very unnerving, from the unintended BodyHorror of his metallic skin creasing into menacing [[DreamworksFace Dreamworks Faces]] to the white strips and pink slab forming his cartoony teeth and tongue being completely unhidden in the hollow cavity of his mouth. The constant ExtremeCloseUp camera angles don't help matters...
** Speaking of extremely uncomfortable closeups, the [[MouthCam camera following the pizza into Christopher's mouth]] as he looks on dead-eyed and unblinking is nothing short of NightmareFuel.
** The talking Lamborghini is similarly distressing, made worse by the extremely unnatural way its mouth contorts and the dead gaze of its headlights.
** None of the human characters are immune, as beyond many looking unnervingly identical to each other and some being disturbingly [[NoBrows devoid of eyebrows]] or hair, their bodies constantly jitter erratically (such as when Bianca hands Chris the fork) or their limbs completely dislocate themselves (like the waitress in the Pyramid whose [[LongNeck neck slinks off completely separate from her body]] or Christopher's arms rapidly snapping in and out of place when first talking to Connie).
