* {{Narm}}: The short film tries ''desperately'' to seem charming and "cool" to viewers with its constant self-referential crypto humor and bombastic exhibition of Cryptoland, but it almost universally landed as anything but.

** "Mental maturity should be more than enough! ;)"[[labelnote:Explanation]]An [[{{Squick}} infamous]] [[https://twitter.com/widesauce/status/1478816782966136832 response by the official Cryptoland Twitter account]] to someone asking what the age of consent would be in Cryptoland (they would later defend themselves by condemning all “racial or deviant behavior” and claiming that the person responsible for said response was not a native English speaker and thought "age of consent" simply referred to the minimum age needed to visit the island—despite the suggestive winking emoticon and the implausibility of someone who thought the question was innocuous choosing to phrase it so salaciously). Expect it to be brought up pretty much anytime the project and/or animation is mocked online.[[/labelnote]]

* HarsherInHindsight[=/=]HilariousInHindsight: Depending on your perspective, the failure of Cryptoland after failing to buy the island they advertised and eventually shutting down for good during the Cryptocurrency crash at the end of 2022 could be either with how aggressively optimistic and preemptively self-congratulatory the short is about not being a "rugpull".

** Many of the animation errors have become memes in and of themselves, notably the [[LeftItIn spontaneously moving plants]], Bianca's arm hideously luxating itself when she hands Christopher the fork (especially coupled with Christopher's BadBadActing in response), and the BlackComedy invoked by numerous instances of [[FunnyBackgroundEvent the personal golf carts in the background barreling directly toward]] [[VehicularAssault groups of of people]] before the camera cuts to the next shot.

* SpecialEffectsFailure: The animation in general is a technical Lambo-wreck (even though presenters claimed that former Creator/{{Pixar}} and/or other first-rate animation studio employees worked on it) and thus trying to list every single error would be [[ImpossibleTask nothing short of Sisyphean]], but what really sticks out are the sheer amount of assets that are just flat 2D pictures that characters regularly clip through or walk over; from the Vladimir Club building to ''literally the entire island'' in the opening scene on the pier.
