The bombings of Japan depicted in the cartoon is different from what actually happened. It is also noted that main cities of Japan, including Tokyo as in the cartoon, were bombed (though not as harsh as the two atomic bombings).

* HarsherInHindsight: The Pigs use their cannon to blow up Japan, three years before [[UsefulNotes/AtomicBombingsOfHiroshimaAndNagasaki it actually happened]]. As evidenced by the "Doolittle Dood It!" sign, this was actually meant as a reference to the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doolittle_Raid Doolittle Raid]].

* ValuesDissonance: Being a WartimeCartoon, expect plenty of disparaging jokes not only about Hitler but also the Japanese, the most egregious being the "No Japs Allowed" sign.

* HarsherInHindsight: The scene where the Pigs use their cannon to blow up Japan -- which didn't happen in RealLife until three years after the cartoon premiered.
* ValuesDissonance: It's a UsefulNotes/WorldWarII cartoon with a lot of dated references, none the least of which is the "No Japs Allowed" sign. As with a lot of cartoons from that era, it's better to look at it through a historical perspective.
