* BrokenBase: How much of the plot of the saga starts to happen due to PlotTailoredToTheParty from this book on is a still hotly debated issue. With the hanse consisting of a HunterOfMonsters, a PregnantBadass archer, a world-renown bard, [[spoiler: a turn-coat knight and a higher vampire]], it's hard to tell for sure. Thus one side insists they've got enough flexibility and bases covered to simply power through all sorts of situations and still prevail. The other points out those situations tend to require an oddly specific skills to solve and overcome, that the party ''just'' happens to have.
