* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: A lot of viewers agree that the role of Elliot was not used to its character's -- or, for that matter, its actor's -- full power. While some agree that the movie is much more about Alex coming to terms with his sexuality than who he ends up with, it's still jarring how Elliot vanishes midway through the movie and only shows up for the ending.
