* HilariousInHindsight: This episode originally aired a week or so after season 3 of ''Series/StrangerThings'' became available, so the super-powers-to-close-the-door scene reads like a very quick-turnaround ShoutOut, but of course is just a coincidence.

original is zero context, natter

* AssPull: Daisy's powers ''twice'' reach near [[ComicBook/DoomPatrol Flex Mentallo]] levels of just being able to do whatever the hell she wants.
** Not quite. Daisy's powers are explicitly 'vibration control'; while this typically manifests as "quaking", she can also use the vibrations for propulsion, for blasting people across the room (both via air vibrations) and in this case is able to solve two problems with it. 1) The Shrike are predominantly living crystalline birds, so a vibration should disintegrate them. 2) The bomb would be set off with the slightest vibration, so her Hail Mary move of quaking the bomb itself works because it is a precise vibration all around essentially creating a 'neutral zone' where there is zero movement whatsoever.

* SpoiledByTheFormat: Jaco blows up Izel's ship... only with ten minutes left in the episode. The trailer for the next episode reveals she's still alive.

* CatharsisFactor: Mack giving Sarge a brutal beatdown and locking him up, which is ''very'' satisfying after seeing strut around like a HateSink SmugSnake tin pot general for the past eight episodes.
