* AwardSnub: Averted. While it only received one nomination at the 2012 Kids' Choice Awards (Jake Short for Favorite TV Actor), he won against quite modest competition (He faced [[Series/ModernFamily Ty Burrell]] and Tim Allen, two middle-aged actors, and Alex Heartman of the male-targeted PowerRangers -- and with the [=KCAs=] being heavily female-skewed, his odds were slim, at best). Favorite Show and Actress are maybe year or two down the road, but Favorite Sidekick should have been Creator/SierraMcCormick for Olive. Who got nominated? Jennifer Stone, Jerry Trainor, Nathan Kress and Jennette [=McCurdy=] (who won for the 2nd time in a row). Really? Three sidekicks from the same show? A show that the main protaganist seems the be the true sidekick to [[SpotlightStealingSquad Jennette McCurdy]]. It was as if NICK paved the way for her win by not putting anyone who posed a threat. Adding Gibby to the mix would've made much more sense, but he could've beat Jennette. YMMV on Sierra winning it, but she definitely deserved recognition.

* BaseBreakingCharacter: Olive became one in season 3, largely due to her [[TookALevelInJerkass taking a level in jerkass]].

* FanPreferredCouple: Fletcher has a crush on Chyna, but [[http://antfarm.wikia.com/wiki/Folive_Fanfiction most fanfiction you'll find will ship him with Olive instead]]. In fact, [[http://antfarm.wikia.com/wiki/Folive the article about the pairing]] is the longest article on the show's wiki. Fans got their wish.

** One would imagine that the most popular character of all would be Chyna, whom the show is written around, or at least Lexi for being pretty - but apparently, it's actually Olive. Being so {{Adorkable}} is a big reason for her popularity. However, she's become rather polarizing in the third season, as her adorkable nerd personality started mutating into a rather neurotic know-it-all and she did [[TookALevelInJerkass surprisingly mean things to others, especially Fletcher.]]
** Lexi's [[CharacterizationMarchesOn march towards characterization]] at being a LovableAlphaBitch seems to be a response to the (likely unanticipated) popularity of her character.

* CriticalResearchFailure: The Ancient Greece play. Zeus did not marry Aphrodite in Greek Mythology; depending on the version of the myth, she was his aunt or daughter.

* AcceptableTargets: One might argue that there are ''way'' too many jokes at the expense of fat people than are warranted.
** Angus somewhat invokes this.
* ActorShipping: There are several ships, of which Jierra (Creator/JakeShort[=/=]Creator/SierraMcCormick) is probably the most popular, followed by Chake (Music/ChinaAnneMcClain[=/=]Creator/JakeShort). Bonus points that in the latter ship, one of two is in love with the other (China Anne towards Jake).

* CrossesTheLineTwice: A lot of Lexi's {{Jerkass}} moments are so exaggerated that they're funny rather than mean spirited.

* EnsembleDarkHorse: Paisley is ''hugely'' popular, especially for a supporting character. Granted, that probably has less to do with the character itself and more with [[MsFanservice who plays her]].

* LauncherOfAThousandShips: Fletcher.
* LesYay / FoeYay: The end of "You're the One That I [=wANT=]" has [[ItMakesSenseInContext Lexi playing the male lead]] to Chyna's female lead. They sing a romantic song somewhat similar to "[[Film/{{Grease}} Summer Nights]]" that was originally supposed to end with a kiss. They don't kiss, but still...
** Also, the below mentioned IdolSinger episode has Chyna singing "You are beautiful, no matter what they say..." The fact that Lexi mistakes this as Chyna singing the song ''to her'' is played as a joke, but the scene is ''seriously played out like Chyna is singing it to Lexi!''
* MoralEventHorizon: Hashimoto and Winter Maddox crossed it after taking over the company by turning the [=ANT=]s into unpaid employees and forcing them to sleep in tubes.

If ''[=Secret AgANT=]'' is anything to go by, he has a ''ZeroPercentApprovalRating in the entire country''. Damn, he makes [[Series/ICarly Freddie Benson]] and [[Series/{{Victorious}} Robbie Shapiro]] look like Leprechauns.

* GeniusBonus: In "Some EnchANTed Evening", Gibson recalls an incident involving a cheerleader named Samantha Herkimer. Those familiar with the sport of cheerleading will recognize that the character is named after Lawrence Herkimer, the founder of the National Cheerleaders Association.

* CanonSue: Chyna, depending on who you ask.

* DudeNotFunny: In the episode "[=SciANTs=] Fair", Olive and Chyna fight over the controller to a miniature zeppelin during the titular fair; cue accidental recreation of the Hindenburg disaster with Olive even quoting the famous line "Oh, the humanity!" If the laugh track is to be believed, it's all PlayedForLaughs!
** Arguably the whole episode "[=MutANT=] Farm", but this quote "You got a text message from Satan! 'See you soon'..." takes the prize. That joke came from the first episode, which this episode was [[RecycledScript based]] off of.
** The PoliceBrutality jokes in "The [=InformANT=]", which were, of course, PlayedForLaughs. The scenes even got removed and shortened.
** Lexi breaking her legs [[ItMakesSenseInContext after pretending to be crippled]] in "[=PatANT=] Pending" and everybody thinking she's faking again and just leaving her there. God, we know she's an AlphaBitch, [[KickTheDog but that]] [[DisproportionateRetribution was just harsh]]… also, Lexi was hit squarely on the ''head'', yet her ''legs'' are broken?!
** "[=ANTswers=]" tries to put the problems of arguing parents in stride (although it was treated seriously until it turns out Paisely was crying about her parrots). Lexi also makes a joke about deportation, just because Cameron's Canadian girlfriend was chosen to be in advertisements instead of her.
*** Let's not forget [[BlackComedy how the librarian was reduced to bones because it has been so long since people visited the Library]].

*** The revelation Kennedy never really liked Fletcher and was using him; yes, the only person that's given Fletcher a PetTheDog in Season 3 turns out to be using him the whole time.
* EarWorm: The theme music. Also "Cameron Parks: Space Cadet" from "[=ClarivoyANT=]".
** China Anne [=McClain=] released a very catchy halloween-themed song called "Calling All The Monsters". It appeared in the ''A.N.T. Farm'' HalloweenEpisode.
*** Almost '''anything''' sung by China. It doesn't take a hard look to see why Executive Producer Dan Signer came up with the show by literally writing it around her.
