* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Susie, in that her decision to tell Undyne where Papyrus was whilst Frisk, Kris and Chara were pre-occupied caused the Castle Town to go ablaze in Page 31, much to Ralsei's horror.

* OurGhostsAreDifferent: Chara spends a good amount of the comic as a ghost that only Frisk and Kris can see. By Page 33, they assume a Dark World form of their own, in turn becoming fully tangible and being inexplicitly revived (as a result of them becoming part-Darkner from the Heart Locket). It's by that point where they're finally visible in others' view, which Kris frustratingly lampshades.

* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: For Chara, compared to their portrayal in fanon, they aren't a murderer (as stated below), but more of a sassy know-it-all with abandonment issues. They don't represent the fandom in general, [[TakeThatAudience as much as they love to prod fun at the common misconceptions about them]], but are the type to think they're a cunning genius, and as such can get angry whenever their theories are questioned and/or disagreed with (like the parallel worlds theory on Page 30).

'''Twin Runes''' is an ongoing webcomic mini-series by ''Akenemnon'', serving as a crossover between ''VideoGame/{{Undertale}}'' and ''VideoGame/{{Deltarune}}''.

The basic premise involves Frisk entering the ''Deltarune'' universe during one of their many runs through the Underground, meeting Kris and Susie during their time there. Naturally, HilarityEnsues as the two determination souls try to get to grips with what's going on.

The comic so far can be read [[https://akanemnon.tumblr.com/ here]].

* BerserkButton: In Page 12, Chara is not at all pleased with Berdly's comment that "all humans look the same" (due to the fact that Frisk and Kris have the same skin color), and promptly gets Kris to slap him for it.
* CharacterDevelopment: Whilst starting off very dismissive of Frisk and really frustrated with their presence, Kris soon grows to appreciate Frisk a lot better, not only hugging it out with them, but finding some comfort in their equal circumstances and bonding like siblings.
* CommonalityConnection: Kris and Frisk, by Page 27, come to grips with the fact that they had both been puppeteered by players before, with the latter coming to understand why they always started off at the beginning of things after getting a happy ending in ''Undertale''. This control was severed from both of them following Frisk's trip into the ''Deltarune'' universe.
* SilentProtagonist: Kris and Frisk both subvert this in that they both actively talk throughout the webcomic. Undyne and Susie lampshade this in Page 26, which makes them both realise how similar they are in that sense.
