Added DiffLines:

* DoubleEntendre: Jeonghwan and Yeonhwa used to play in the sheets when they were kids. When they talk about playing in the sheets as adults, it sounds a lot less innocent.

Added DiffLines:

* IntelligibleUnintelligible: Humans can't understand Meow-meow when he talks, but the emergency operator understands his meows when he calls to report the chief's injury.

Added DiffLines:

* MushroomSamba: The black garlic that was supposed to cure Su-ah apparently makes her think she's more articulate, but the adults don't notice what she's saying. Meow-meow drinks it all up and believes he has become fully human, but the humans treat him like a cat all the same, and he realizes it was all a delusion at the end of the chapter.

Added DiffLines:

* PartiallyCivilizedAnimal: Meow-meow is almost a typical cat, but he often behaves like a human. He talks but isn't understood except for comedic purposes. He occasionally walks upright, and he's sometimes caught watching unsavory cat videos on the computer.

Added DiffLines:

* VomitIndiscretionShot: When Jeonghwan finds out that Jeonghye had bought him a cake before she was killed, he recalls the cake that he was eating with his friends and throws it up.

* ParentsWalkInAtTheWorstTime: Jeonghwan and Yeonhwa lie down on the mattress and reminisce about playing in the sheets as children. Meow-meow knocks a blanket on top of them and an empty vitamin packet on the floor just as Bamsoon walks in. Bamsoon tells the two to continue whatever they were doing.

'''Beware of unmarked or [[Administrivia/SelfFulfillingSpoiler self-fulfilling spoilers]].'''
----
!! ''My Daughter is a Zombie'' contains examples of:
* BigLittleBrother: Bamsoon is tiny as is, but her younger sister Bigsoon is gigantic.
* BirthdayHater: Jeonghwan doesn't celebrate his birthday because he blames himself for Jeonghye's death on his birthday.
* BittersweetEnding: Jeonghwan pays the price for harboring a zombie, but it benefits the greater good. [[spoiler:When they're caught by soldiers, Jeonghwan asks Su-ah to bite him, and he is shot after he turns into a zombie. However, his sacrifice allows researchers to find a cure, saving Su-ah and several other families who had been hiding zombies in secret]].
* BreakingTheFourthWall:
** When Jeonghwan finds a zombie with a missing jaw, he says it can't be there because the comic is PG.
** When Bigsoon and Bamsoon talk, Jeonghwan tells them to step back because nobody can tell who is talking. (It's possible to distinguish them by their shoulders.)
* ChildhoodFriendRomance: Jeonghwan is unsure about his childhood friend Yeonhwa returning to their hometown at first, since she hates zombies and would most likely report Su-ah. They eventually warm up to each other, [[spoiler:though their time is cut short when Su-ah's cover is blown]].
* DirtyCoward: Moon-gi threw his girlfriend to the zombies to get away.
* DomesticAbuse: Jeonghye was married to an abusive man and had bruises around her neck.
* DopeSlap: When one of Su-ah's classmates accuses her of being all sorts of supernatural entities, she smacks him on the head.
* DrivesLikeCrazy: Bamsoon drives as well as someone who is too small to see the road. That is to say, she crashes into everything and gets pulled over.
* FleshEatingZombie: Downplayed. Though zombies like to eat human flesh, pork intestines are close enough to satisfy their hunger.
* HappilyAdopted: It's implied that Su-ah knows she was adopted because her parents' blood types don't match up with hers, but she doesn't think of Jeonghwan any differently. [[spoiler:After Jeonghwan's death, Yeonhwa moves in with the family, and Su-ah happily acknowledges her as her mother]].
* HeelFaceTurn: After the chief realizes how much Jeonghwan loves Su-ah, he stops pursuing the zombie case, steps down as chief, and later warns Jeonghwan when someone is aware of the presence of zombies.
* HeelRealization: The chief realizes what a terrible father he has been when Jeonghwan defends his daughter in the same situation in which the chief had killed his own daughter.
* TheHeroDies: After being cornered by soldiers, [[spoiler:Jeonghwan asks Su-ah to bite him. Once he turns, he lunges at the soldiers and is shot]].
* HowWeGotHere: The narrative starts one year after the zombie outbreak, with Su-ah as the last remaining zombie. Then it shows how she got bitten and turned as she escaped Seoul with her father.
* IHaveNoSon: When Youngja returns and becomes a zombie, the chief says she died 30 years ago when she ran away.
* KnightOfCerebus: The story is largely a comedy with some sprinkles of drama until Su-ah's biological father returns. After a heartwrenching flashback of how Jeonghwan adopted Su-ah after Jeonghye's death, Moon-gi returns to ask Su-ah to be a guarantor for his loans. [[spoiler:Upon realizing Su-ah is a zombie, Moon-gi decides to abduct her for reward money. Jeonghwan kills Moon-gi after having Su-ah bite him. After several chapters of respite, Moon-gi is reported as a missing person, which leads to Su-ah's cover being blown and Jeonghwan dying tragically to protect her]].
* MarriedToTheJob: The chief was so obsessed with being a good chief that he never took care of his wife and kids.
* MiniatureSeniorCitizens: Bamsoon doesn't even make it to Su-ah's hip. She's so small that she can't see when driving.
* NeverMessWithGranny: Small as she may be, Bamsoon packs a massive punch against zombies and is able to keep Su-ah in line.
* OffingTheOffspring: The chief remorselessly killed his daughter when she turned into a zombie.
* OutlivingOnesOffspring: Bamsoon lost her daughter Jeonghye to a car accident. [[spoiler:By the end of the story, she also loses Jeonghwan, who turned into a zombie and was shot]].
* PapaWolf: Jeonghwan puts his life on the line to save Su-ah on multiple occasions, taking a beating to protect her and jumping off a cliff to stop her from getting kidnapped.
* ParentalNeglect: The chief was never around for his children because he was so busy with his job.
* ParentWithNewParamour: Jeonghwan had to give up on dating while raising Su-ah, but he decides to take a chance with Yeonhwa. Su-ah is initially against it and tries to get in their way.
* PlagueZombie: Zombies spread by biting other people.
* ProductPlacement: Su-ah uses Carmex for her chapped lips, and Jeonghwan reads the blurb about the product.
* RaisingTheSteaks: Subverted; Su-ah bites a chicken, but a janitor incinerates it before it can turn into a zombie.
* ShipperOnDeck: Bamsoon is all for Jeonghwan and Yeonhwa getting together, especially when she walks in on them after [[NotWhatItLooksLike a blanket has fallen on them]].
* ShoutOut: One of Su-ah's classmates suspects she is a werewolf à la ''Webcomic/TheWolfAndRedRidingHood''. Another one wants to [[Webcomic/{{Lookism}} unite the four major crews]].
* SmallParentHugeChild: Bamsoon is tiny compared to Jeonghwan, and she's also half a head shorter than Jeonghye.
* SomeoneToRememberHimBy: Yeonhwa ends up having [[spoiler:Jeonghwan's child after his death]].
* StrongFamilyResemblance: Bamsoon, Bigsoon, and Jeonghye have the same small face with pince-nez glasses. Su-ah also had their face (and glasses) when she was a baby up until she discovered she didn't need glasses.
* TeacherParentRomance: Yeonhwa is a teacher at Su-ah's school. When Yeonhwa and Jeonghwan get together, Su-ah is horrified and tries to get in their way.
* TechnicallyLivingZombie: Zombies are humans that were bitten by other zombies, and they're perfectly sentient when they're not hungry.
* ThickerThanWater: Jeonghwan will do anything to protect his daughter even though it is selfish of him to keep her alive at the risk of another zombie outbreak. [[spoiler:He goes as far as to kill Su-ah's biological father to stop him from selling her out]].
* UndeathIsCheap: While dead zombies remain dead, [[spoiler:a cure for the virus is discovered by the end of the story, allowing many hidden zombies to be saved. It's too late for those who are too badly injured, but at least they can be put to rest as humans]].
* TheVirus: Nobody knows for sure how the zombie apocalypse started, but it is spread by biting.
