** One of the three people is a swordsmith woman named Emma. It was nearly unheard of for women in the [=1500s=] to work as blacksmiths, let alone [[http://www.mangahere.com/manga/city_of_dead_sorcerer/c083/24.html wear pants]]. Wearing pants was considered crossdressing for women, and was a punishable offense.
** On the subject of wardrobe, Chris, another one of the three characters, is dressed more like a paperboy from the end of the eighteenth century rather than a poor child from the sixteenth.
