''Twitch Plays Pokémon Prism Anniversary'' is the first run of the tenth season of ''TPP'', marking the stream's ninth anniversary, and ran from February 12th, 2023 to February 24th, 2023. It featured a return to ''VideoGame/PokemonPrism'', six and a half years after [[WebVideo/TwitchPlaysPokemonPrism the original run]], using the latest version of the hack. On Day 11 of the run, an "Anniversary Update" was deployed, featuring several quality-of-life changes, access to Pokémon not available in the base game[[note]]Snorlax, Zapdos, Mewtwo, and Mew[[/note]], and battles against [[PreviousPlayerCharacterCameo characters from previous runs]].

For their second adventure in Naljo, the Voices picked a blue-clothed plain-looking boy named Adam as their Host, who later changed looks to a cooler green outfit, and later down the line to a pink one. Unlike the first time, completing the Pokédex was one of the requirements this time around; as a result, Varaneous, Raiwato and Fambaco, the three Naljo Guardians that had been left uncaught back in 2016, were captured for the first time on stream, and finally had their [[MissingSecret elusive stream badges]] distributed.

!!''Twitch Plays Pokémon Prism Anniversary'' contains examples of:

* AerithAndBob: The run's final team was composed of [=Afqmk(ktts=], Aiihgyox, Kkjiijjpoo, Saaᴹɴᴹɴr, Eyw zzggi... and Vivian.

* AmazonBrigade: Save for the genderless Libabeel, every Pokémon on Adam's team was female.

* BackFromTheDead:
** Early on Day 10, malicious inputs resulted in Libabeel being released despite having been a long-standing member of the team. On the very last day of the run however, it was made to respawn in the same location where it was originally caught, complete with the same level, moveset, and even nickname it had when it was released.
** All six Pokémon used by AGGGNNV, the protagonist of ''WebVideo/TwitchPlaysPokemonBlazingEmerald'', are ones that had been released during the original run.

* ContinuityNod: One of the more memorable tidbits about ''[[WebVideo/TwitchPlaysPokemonMetronomeSapphire Metronome Sapphire]]'' is the significant amount of time that MARINA spent underwater, looking for randomized wild Pokémon. As a nod to this, after being defeated in this game, she leaves by diving away.

* {{Filler}}: The Pokémon League rematch was beaten on Day 6, but the Anniversary update, which made the Pokédex properly completable and added a bunch of extra battles and dungeons, was only added on Day 11. Between the two, time was mostly spent [[LevelGrinding grinding]] at the Battle Tower, Stamina Challenge, or Pachisi Boards, or trying to advance Pokédex completion, the latter often being left aside due to necessitating a ''lot'' of menuing inside the PC.

* MyNameIsQuestionMarks: Early in the run, a glitch caused every Pokémon name in menus and dialogue boxes to appear as [[https://i.imgur.com/2hWNy5B.png a bunch of question marks]].

* NostalgiaLevel: As part of the Anniversary update, a newly added cave entrance on Faraway Island gave access to the Unkown Island dungeon from ''WebVideo/TwitchPlaysPokemonRedAnniversary'', in all of its hole-filled MalevolentArchitecture glory. Just like back then, Mew was found deep within the area.

* ObviousRulePatch:
** Completing the Pokédex, which was one of the conditions to end the run, requires completing the second Bingo card, on which one of the squares necessitates reaching Lv.5 of crafting Poké Balls. The issue with that is that only one Apricorn of each type can be obtained per day, and even then, only Orange Apricorns can be used for crafting until Lv.4 is reached, when reaching Lv.2 alone requires crafting a total of 4 Poké Balls. The Anniversary update added stacks of 25 Orange, Cyan and Grey Apricorns on Route 34 as a reward for [[BossRush defeating a series of]] [[PreviousPlayerCharacterCameo Hosts from previous runs]], and made it so new crafts were unlocked with every level rather than every three or four. This allowed Lv.5 to be reached in a few hours, rather than the literal ''weeks'' it would have taken otherwise.
** Trade Stones, which were also necessary for completing the Pokédex, could be exchanged for 175 tickets at the Battle Arcade. However, while using Libabeel resulted in about 100 tickets being earned with each attempt, thanks to its high stats and Naljo Fury ability, that number dropped to a pitiful 30 tickets after it was released. After obtaining the second-to-last Trade Stone, players were pretty much exhausted from all the tedious Battle Arcade grinding, so a stack of them replaced one of the aforementioned stacks of Apricorns on Route 34.

* PreviousPlayerCharacterCameo:
** MARINA from ''[[WebVideo/TwitchPlaysPokemonMetronomeSapphire Metronome Sapphire]]'' was found on a dock near Faraway Island, guarding access to the game's last Gold Token. Her team consisted of VVOOOOOOIC (Venusaur), IIHBAAAMMM (Gengar), AAAAAAAAAA (Slowbro), MMMMMMMMGG (Mew), KENNNNNNNN (Groudon), and JJJJJJJJJJ (Scizor); and as always, the only move available to her ''and'' Adam's Pokémon was [[RandomEffectSpell Metronome]].
** Three different past Hosts were found on Route 34, using Pokémon from multiple of their teams to fit the limited Pokédex selection of Prism, and guarding stacks of 25 Orange, Grey and Cyan Apricorns as reward for defeating them:
*** The first Host was KAY from ''[[WebVideo/TwitchPlaysPokemonBurningRed Burning Red]]'', using his ''Revisit'' team, with Raticate and Starmie replaced by Gyarados and Charizard.
*** Despite the second Host being Kr from ''[[WebVideo/TwitchPlaysPokemonRenegadePlatinum Renegade Platinum]]'', he used a team composed of Pokémon from ''[[WebVideo/TwitchPlaysPokemonBrilliantDiamond Brilliant Diamond]]'', namely Gardevoir, Lugia, Drapion, Cacturne, Togekiss, and Snorlax.
*** The third Host was AGGGNNV from ''[[WebVideo/TwitchPlaysPokemonBlazingEmerald Blazing Emerald]]'', who held the distinction of having his entire team un-nicknamed as a reference to the heavy amount of {{Unfortunate Name}}s the run featured; said team was composed of Weezing, Weavile, Gliscor, Relicanth, Xatu, and Rapidash.
*** A fourth Host was later added, namely [=ᴾₖᴾₖᴾₖᴾₖᴾₖ=] from ''[[WebVideo/TwitchPlaysPokemonCharityDualRed Charity Dual Red]]'', using JJKBCCK (Victreebel) instead of [=MNOPQE;=] (Nidoking).
** The Power Plant featured a battle against PEE from the ''Pokémon Ultra'' sidegame on the way to Zapdos. In order to [[BalanceBuff make the battle more challenging]], his Shuppet and Paras were evolved to Banette and Parasect respectively.
** Phlox City had a battle against LARRY from ''[[WebVideo/TwitchPlaysPokemonBootlegGreen Bootleg Green]]'' in the way to reach Mewtwo; alongside his own Mewtwo and three Eeveelutions, LARRY also used a Phancero and a Charizard, respectively acting as stand-ins for an [[https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Unstable_hybrid_Pok%C3%A9mon unstable hybrid]] of Doduo and [[https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/%27M_(FF) Charizard 'M]] named CUCKO, and another unnamed hybrid of [[https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/%27M_(FF) Charizard 'M]] and [[https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/%27M_(00) 'M]].
** The final battle of the run was fought against Cyan from the original ''[[WebVideo/TwitchPlaysPokemonPrism Prism]]'' run, who acted as the fourth and final opponent of the Mystery League and used her first Hall of Fame team.

* ReplacementGoldfish:
** Adam caught a Snorunt named "[=DepppY Q=]" early on, but spamming A while talking to the Orphanage Lady combined with the menu not resetting properly caused it to be mistakenly given away. Players wasted no time catching another Snorunt, this one named "[=Aiihgyox=]", which stayed on the team for the remainder of the run.
** This happened [[ExaggeratedTrope twice]] with Yanma. The first one caught, "[=Iz sttkt=]", forgot [=AncientPower=] right after learning it due to also learning Screech at the same level, making it unable to evolve and thus leading to it [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness being released]]. The Voices thus shifted focus to another Yanma, "[=Iaclnoxy;.=]", who outright failed to learn [=AncientPower=] due to a rogue B input, and promptly got deposited into the PC as well. They then resolved to catch yet ''another'' Yanma, that one named "[=Kkjiijjpoo=]", which ''[[ThirdTimesTheCharm finally]]'' managed to learn [=AncientPower=] and evolve into Yanmega, earning it a permanent slot on the final team.
** {{Defied}} with Libabeel. The Anniversary Update made it respawn in its initial location after its release, but the Voices refused to catch it as it was not ''their'' Lv.100 Libabeel, but the default Lv.50 one. When they returned the next day, the Libabeel they found was indeed [[BackFromTheDead the Lv. 100 one that had been released]], complete with its former moveset and even its former nickname, and was consequently caught [[TooManyCooksSpoilTheSoup (albeit after many failed attempts)]] and reinstated into the team.

* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Brown, Gold and Red, the three original members of the Mystery League, do ''not'' want to stick around when [[WebVideo/TwitchPlaysPokemonPrism Cyan]] makes her entrance to challenge Adam.
--> '''Gold:''' Oh no, it's her!
--> '''Brown:''' Go away!
--> '''Gold:''' Do you think she brought that freaky glitch bird with her?
--> '''Brown:''' I don't wanna stick around to find out! SCATTER! ''(runs away)''
--> '''Gold:''' I'm gone, man! ''(teleports away)''
--> '''Red:''' ......... ''(transitions away)''

* ShoutOut:
** Mismagius was named "Vivian", after a character from ''VideoGame/PaperMarioTheThousandYearDoor'' with a similar ghostly appearance and colour scheme.
** Phancero was given the name "Mima", after a vengeful spirit character from the ''Franchise/TouhouProject'' franchise.

* ThirdTimesTheCharm: The first two Yanma used by Adam both failed to learn [=AncientPower=], the first because it was immediately overwritten by the move Screech, and the second due to a B input that cancelled the movelearn outright. It took a third Yanma to finally succeed in learning the move, thus making it able to evolve into Yanmega.

* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: [=Iz sttkt=], the first Yanma caught by Adam, was released after it learned [=AncientPower=] and then immediately forgot it in favour of Screech, making it unable to evolve into Yanmega and thus useless to the team.
