Allen reveals that government has lost contact with the crew of the ''Caelestis'' spaceship during a manned mission to Jupiter and requests Linkara's help to find out what happened. With the help of his fellow critics, Linkara uses ''Comicron-1'' to launch a rescue mission, but soon discovers a foe from his past that threatens to destroy everything he cherishes.
