"J", if this is during the Fergus Timeline, and he isn't KilledOffForReal like the Wyatt timeline]].

BJ at this point is in a synthetic Supersoldat body with cybernetics, yet Max was completely unfazed by the punch. When Max tries the same with BJ, it sends BJ flying. Considering Max is seen tanking machinegun fire in New Order without so much as flinching, he either massively won the genetic lottery on the physical front or indeed a subject of the Supersoldaten programme.]]

The original Wolfenstein3D ended with B.J. killing Hitler in his bunker. As well, it seems that even a OneManArmy like Blazkowicz might not be able to take on the whole Nazi war machine by himself. So I'm thinking, in the climax, B.J. goes back in time to the last days of WWII and kills Hitler like he did back in Wolf3D.

The Nazis are seen in the Asylum level to take mental patients, presumably for conversion to the "Supersoldaten" -- the hulking, minigun-wielding enemies. Max has serious visible scars, is still mentally a small child, and was apparently found behind a dumpster. Considering that Max kicks loads of ass when [[spoiler: the Nazis mortally wound Klaus]], and he shrugs off a number of bullets with even greater endurance than BJ himself, it's possible that he was partially put through the Supersoldaten program before getting scrapped for unknown reasons.
