to:

** Seemingly confirmed after the ending of ''Angel & Spike'', where Fred takes the group through an interdimensional rift and they meet alternate versions of Angel and Spike.

to:

** Plus Angel has his own relationship arc happening with Kate, who is the reincarnation of his one true love.

to:

** Faith has arrived as of issue #19, but what that means for Kendra remains to be seen.

* Both Angel and Spike have been moved over to their own comic early, are largely separate from Buffy and her high school antics and thus far, there's been little to no romantic tension between her and either of them. It's unlikely that either, let alone ''both'', of Buffy's original main Love Interests are being written completely out of those roles. Given that following Twilight there's been a lot of scrutiny given towards large-age-gap supernatural-teenage pairings, perhaps the writers intend to save those relationships until Buffy's out of high school to avoid that?

[[WMG:Lilith is Doyle's mother in this continuity]]
* If Doyle (whose role is similar to Lilith's) shows up in this continuity, then his half-demon heritage could be changed to his maternal side to tie them together.

[[WMG:Kendra will survive here]]
* The fact that she's been given several of Faith's traits indicates that Faith might not appear.

[[WMG:Fred will become more like her show counterpart as a result of CharacterDevelopment]]

[[WMG:Sandy Noxon wasn't killed but sired, and will show up later on]]
* There ''was'' a vampire named Sandy in the show.

** The idea of Wood being a slayer seems to be {{Jossed}}, as it turns out he is a Watcher instead. However, the possibility of male Slayers remains a very open possibility.

* The “Created By” page that opens up for each issue includes the “Into every generation a slayer is born” phrase, except that “she” is replaced by “they”. This hints that it is possible for males to be Slayers in this continuity (possibly Wood, if his comment that he broke his arm falling off a roof wasn’t a throwaway line).
