* AllThereInTheManual: Most everything about the characters. Things like Steroids being a doctor, Fish having being a police officer and even a few character's genders are never mentioned during gameplay.

* AwesomeButImpractical: lightning guns. They fire a multi-hitting bolt of energy, but it functions much like lightning really would by routing to the nearest object. This means in narrow corridors it'll often arc away from your target and into a wall

* ExtremeOmnivore: Robot can eat guns for ammo and HP

* SpiderTank: [[spoiler: the throne becomes one when you reach it.]]

* KaizoTrap: The boss of the scrapyard goes out in a series of spectacular explosions. These ''can'' kill you.

* AllThereInTheManual: In game tips reveal Chicken is female.

* RevolversAreJustBetter: Every character has a revolver as their starting weapon, except for the Chicken, as mentioned above. Y.V.'s happens to be made of gold.

* ShoutOut: the Disc Gun and Minigun from ''SuperCrateBox'' makes a reappearance, and Yung Venus from their previous game Gun Godz is now a playable character.

* SummonMagic: Rebel's special ability summons a bandit to fight on her side, for the cost of 2 HP. Upgrading her ability increases their fire rate.

Each one has their own unique stats and special abilities, and they will risk their lives with weapons of all times for their ultimate goal: the [[MacGuffin Nuclear Throne]].

* BodyHorror: Melting, Eyes, and a few other mutants, especially in the Lab.

* DeadlyDisc: the Discgun from ''SuperCrateBox'' makes a reappearance in this game, and functions more or less the same way.
* DropTheHammer: there's a sledgehammer that can be picked up early in the game, and an energy hammer you can pick up later.
* DualWielding: the unique ability of the Steroids character; all other characters can only have one weapon in use at a time.

It has short range, can only hit enemies head-on, as opposed to the sledgehammer and shovel, which hits enemies on a wider radius, and it's one of the weakest of the melee weapons. * KatanasAreJustBetter: the Chicken starts off with a sword as her starting item, in contrast with the revolver most characters start with.
