Example does not sufficiently explain how it applies This mentions nothing about the Blackout Basement trope

This could be merged with the SNES page because it's essentially the same game as this one, with several differences.

!!This game contains examples of:

* AdaptedOut: The boss fight with the pigeon lady is absent in the NES version, though sprites from the Game Boy version still exist in the ROM.
* BlackoutBasement: In the Game Boy version, you will need to get a key required to beat the level by making pinpoint jumps across {{Bottomless Pit}}s.
* BottomlessPits: In the third level, the holes in the floor are usually fatal.
* GameBreakingBug:
** Spin jumping the Sticky Bandits in the third level, the Uncle's House, will crash the game if you're playing on the NES version.
** In the Game Boy version, by jumping in a specific way in the second level through a wall, you can fall into a bottomless pit with no way of getting back up.
* GiantSpaceFleaFromNowhere: The boss of the first level is the head chef of the Plaza Hotel. He was created for this game.
* GuideDangIt: Much like its Super NES counterpart, the game will not tell you anything about what to do next, unless you have the manual.
* OneHitKill: Getting strangled, sucked into a vacuum or having a TV fall on him will kill Kevin in one hit.
* PowerUpFood: Collecting enough cookies will restore Kevin's health by one point.
* StalkedByTheBell: Standing in one spot too long in the Game Boy version of the Chase level will have a safe crush him.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Pizzas. Collecting six slices of a pizza, or collecting a whole pizza pie will give Kevin a OneUp.
* UniqueEnemy: There exists only one mad bomber in the Central Park level in the Game Boy version.
* ViolationOfCommonSense: By falling into a specific hole in the Uncle's House level, you'll find a key there. At no point does the game tell you about what holes are safe or not.
