* GhostlyWail: The wraithlike Screamers have a permanent GhostlyGape and a [[MakeMeWannaShout shriek]] that inflicts LifeDrain.

Crosswicking new trope Hoarding The Profits.

Added DiffLines:

* HoardingTheProfits: The Hero can [[StealingFromThieves inflict this on a bandit]] he rescues from Hobbe Cave. The bandit offers to help explore the cave in exchange for a cut of the treasure, but the Hero can refuse to pay afterwards, causing the bandit to turn hostile.

* SimpleYetAwesome: Enflame doesn't do as much damage as Infernal Wrath, Divine Fury, or Fireball but it's faster to cast than any of them, less mana intensive than the first two, and not as easily dodged as Fireball. Enflame also deals reasonable damage, hits all nearby enemies in a decent range, and deals knockback while looking really cool. For offensive spells, Enflame tends to be ''the'' go-to spell throughout the game.

* SoapboxSquare: The Heroes' Guild has a stone Boasting Platform outside the front gate for amateur speechifying. A few characters make plot-significant announcements there, and if the Hero accepts a ChallengeRun on a quest, he's shown on the Platform, bragging about it to a crowd.

Added DiffLines:

* InsurmountableWaistHeightFence: Outside of towns most of the areas in Fable are essentially narrow corridors with perhaps two or three branching paths and should the Hero try to stray from the path he'll be stopped by a small fence or hill which he has no way of traversing.

Added DiffLines:

* BlackAndWhiteMorality: For the Hero of Oakvale at least actions are categorized as either Good or Evil and give points that move the player's KarmaMeter towards the corresponding alignment. It is rather hard for the Hero to remain morally neutral and there's no reward for doing so. Other characters on the other hand are more nuanced and tend to be more along the lines of BlackAndGrayMorality compared to the villain, Jack of Blades, who is pure evil.

** If the Hero takes ownership of Darkwood Bordello he can collect Gold from it like a rental property. Taking the Good choice and giving away the Bordello deed to Madame Minzche has no financial payoff.

Added DiffLines:

* MoneyForNothing: Its very easy to get endless amounts of Gold by exploiting the shops dynamic pricing. In the Heroic difficulty added in Fable Anniversary edition this was made much less profitable but the player can still buy up rental properties to get endless Gold if he's patient. In any case a player that tries to get rich will most likely soon have more Gold than he can possibly spend on anything useful, especially since most of the best equipment isn't even available in stores.

Added DiffLines:

* BeingGoodSucks: In general the major 'Good' choices in the main plot are less rewarding than their Evil alternatives. The only significant advantage from being Good is that Physical Shield, one of the best abilities in the game, takes less Experience to level up.
** Skorm's Bow from the Temple of Skorm is the best ranged weapon in the game. The weapon rewarded by the Temple of Avo, the Sentinus Greatmace, is a good melee Heavy Weapon but most players prefer light weapons. If a player is willing to spend tens of thousand of gold on a Heavy Weapon he might as well buy the Solus Greatsword which is available shortly after the Sentinus. It is also cheaper to get the Sentinus if the Hero is already Evil.
** Sparing Whisper in the Arena results in missing out on an easy 10,000 gold and she's PutOnABus afterwards anyway.
** For the first soul needed for Archon's Shrine killing Thunder in Knothole Glade is even easier than fighting him at Headman's Hill was. The alternative Arena battle against Jack's minions is one of the toughest combat sequences in the entire game as it pits the Hero against many EliteMook Summoners and Minions.
** Fighting Briar Rose for her soul is more fun than facing a ZergRush of Screamers to collect Scarlet Robe's soul.
