When I decided that I needed an internet moniker that was noticeable, memorable, and unlikely to be already taken on any given site, "[=XionGaTaosenai=]" seemed to fit all of the above (this was in 2008 or at the latest early 2009, so the Kingdom Hearts 358.5 days hadn't been released or even revealed and "Xion" itself was a name literally unheard of anywhere else), and as an added bonus, served as a little jab to my sister. If Airman Ga Taosenai translates to "Airman will not die", then "[=XionGaTaosenai=]" should literally mean "Xion will not die", only in this case it's being used less in a sense of "Xion is undefeatable" and more in a context of "You will never be rid of Xion". I'm not invulnerable, just extremely stubborn.

'''About my name:''' I had chosen this name before I knew any Japanese at all, and I still don't know much, so your guess on the translation is as good as mine. I just heard that "[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLbFctG3tw0 Airman Ga Taosenai]]" translates to "Airman Will Not Die" and ran with it.

At the time, "Xion" was merely my hunter pet in World of Warcraft (a [[http://www.wowhead.com/npc=1999/webwood-venomfang Webwood Venomfang]]), and the fact that I was using a Spider pet (which was one of the worst possible pet choices back then from a gameplay perspective) annoyed my older sister to no end. She was trying to get me to switch to a more useful Cat or Bear, but I had too much of a sentimental attachment to my Tarantula (it being the only reason I was playing the game at all), and shot down her demands every time, much to her chagrin.

Greetings, this is [=XionGaTaosenai=], and this is my TV Tropes Homepage.

I am both a complete {{Nintendo}} Fanboy and a complete [[TouhouProject Touhou]] addict simultaneously, and am personally amazed at how it is even possible to put as much energy into both things at once as I do. I have a fondness for creating needlessly complex Plans and Calculations that I may or may not act upon. Most of said Plans & Calculations pertain to a variety of Video Games (mostly fangames of the above two groups) that I wish to make someday. I am determined to never do anything for only money, and my goals in life are merely to make video games and to have people to play those games with. On the shorter term, I plan on making [[LetsPlay Let's Plays]] sometime in the near future, mostly of games in the above two groups, as well as games that I make later on.

Chief among my dislikes is 80-90% of modern broadcast television, for it's obnoxious displays of [[ViewersAreMorons disregarding any crerebrality of it's viewerbase]]. [[hottip:BOCTAOE: the last 10% I actually like consists of [[DiscoveryChannel Discovery Channel]], [[StandUpComedy Stand-Up Comedy]], and Satirical News Programs ([[TheDailyShow Jon Stewart]]/[[TheColbertReport Colbert Report]], in particular, I really enjoy)]]. Chief among those are [[DisneyChannel Disney Channel]], [[CartoonNetwork Cartoon Network]], and {{Nickelodeon}}, due to even stronger beliefs that [[ViewersAreMorons viewers are morons]], coupled with, and probably caused by, [[AnimationAgeGhetto the Animation Ghetto]]. I also despise the [=XBox=]/[=XBox360=] and everything they stand for, as well as the vast majority of shonen Anime/Manga, because those things tend to put too much focus on [[TorturePorn violence]] and/or being [[DarkerAndEdgier Dark & Edgy]]. [[hottip:*:both of those traits on their own I strongly detest in anything.]] However, the thing I hate most in the world is [[DigitalPiracyIsEvil Digital Piracy]], not out of any regard for copyright laws or "stealing" crap, but because I believe it spoils people. I'll say this here, and I'll say it whenever piracy comes up; "Remember when, when you wanted something and ''couldn't afford it'', you '''didn't have it'''?" I believe that there is a great value to ''earning'' the things that you want, rather than having ''everything'' served to you on a silver platter, a few clicks away, without any effort required.
