* OffModel: His drawings sometimes differ in small details and other times can suffer extremely. Especially in the early works. Parodied with character Gus, who's always sloppily drawn.
* SphereEyes: Uses these in his drawings. Has been also using variants of these eyes too.
* SpriteComics: Had a few of these known as [[http://bzpcomics.wikia.com/wiki/Philipnova798%27s_Comic_Factory Philipnova798's Comic Factory]] which falls smack dab between SturgeonsLaw and crap for the most part. He is also close friends with several members of the InternationalComicContinuity.
* SoBadItsGood: His stop-motions, has made a movie entitled ''[[IncrediblyLamePun Bio-Deadgraded]]'' that can fall into this category.
* SpecialEffectsFailure: His early stop motion works are filled with this.
* UncannyValley: Whenever he attempts real humans... which is usually why he leaves his drawings as cartoonishly styled. Also invoked with [[BillyMays Harry]] [[{{Expy}} Staes]], a salesman not unlike the person he's inspired by.
