I chose the username F Sharp (F#) because, if it's an honor to have an element named after you (e.g. Einsteinium, Nobelium, Rutherfordium), it must be an even greater honor to have a musical note named after you, as there are over 100 elements but only 12 musical notes.

My primary [[GoalsAndObjectivesIndex goal]] on Website/TvTropes is to ensure that {{Tropes}} that are [[Administrivia/YesWeDoHaveThisOne duplicates of existing tropes]] don't get launched. To this end, the first time I visit a draft on the TropeLaunchPad, I visit any [[IndexIndex indices]] that I think might contain an identical trope, and the first time I visit a trope page, I add the trope to any appropriate indices that I can think of. Sometimes, I may also visit the Administrivia/PagesNeedingWicks page to give those pages more wicks, thereby making it more likely that they will be found by anyone who wants to know if they exist. I will also encourage tropers on the TLP whose drafts are about tropes that would belong on the TropeNamers or ThisIndexIsNotAnExample pages to change the names of those tropes, as this kind of name makes a trope harder to find, making it more likely that the trope will one day be accidentally duplicated.
