* HypercompetentSideKick: Downplayed in that Chris ''does'' pull his own weight too. He's gotten Chris out of multiple jams, though due to [[NiceGuy his nature]], he doesn't complain.

* NeutralGood: His canon alignment. While his Hippocratic Oath states no one can come to harm, he [[LoopholeAbuse finds ways around that]] when he believes even ''more'' people will get hurt, as evidenced by his involvement in Chris' quest to defeat Gerardo.

* TheWorfEffect: '''Exaggerated'''. Through out most of the game, Pill Packet was Cinder Block Chris' fail safe for when things got tight. However, when they met up with ''Gerardo'', he gets knocked out with one [[Wrestling/DeanAmbrose wacky line]].

* EveryoneCallsHerBarkeep: Everyone calls her "Karate Waifu" due to her not revealing her name ever.

* HappilyAdopted: In the ending, Carol lives with Chris and "Karate Waifu" as their de facto daughter.

* OmnicidalManiac: His ultimate goal is to wipe the universe of life, for some reason.

* RedOniBlueOni: He's generally the Red Oni to the rest of his teams blue, exceptions being [[KillerRobot Concrete Carol]] and [[TeamPet The Beast]].

* HundredPercentHeroismRating: Everyone knows him as "that good fellow" or "great doctor".
* TheAce: Even as a human (one of the lower ranking species in terms of strength), he rivals Chris in terms of power.
* BerserkButton: Dissing both pills and packets. At ''best'' it really, and I quote, "disassembles his bicycle". At ''worst''... [[CurbstompBattle watch yourself]].

! Mr. Smoothstar
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: A constant victim of this. [[MilesGloriosus Despite what he'd have you believe]].
* ArrogantKungFuGuy: Smoothstar believes he is above even ''Pill Packet''.

* ClassicalAntiHero: Ever since he got in a wheelchair (because he broke his legs mind you, and that they'd heal in a months time if he didn't keep breaking them), he's become a complete failure as a vigilante, and is too arrogant to admit that.

* NatureLover: As evidenced by her gi (which is covered in flowers), she takes up botany on her down time whenever she's not on an assignment.

* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: The reason she starts to follow Chris is because he freed her from containment under the false belief she was an alien held captive.

! Ernst Friedrich
* ActionBomb: He has bombs strapped to several RC Cars, which he can use to remotely murder people.
* AerithAndBob: Somewhat. While his name ''is'' German, it's still the third most normal sounding name amongst the music reference names and the straight up odd names, right next to [[OmnicidalManiac Gerardo]] and [[ByTheBookCop Border Patrol Officer Jack Maverik, GSD]].
* AxCrazy: A more subdued example. Unlike Mr. Smoothstar's last opponents, he's ''actually'' malignant and violent.
* BigBad: Unlike [[MagicalGirlfriend Jazz]] or [[GenkiGuy Ken Blast!]], he's a straighter example for actively manipulating the plot, and not for the better.
* CombatPragmatist: Due to not being very strong, he resorts to using [[MadBomber bombs]] to finish the job.
* CreepyMonotone: He doesn't emote at all when he speaks,due to the fact he's a [[TheSociopath sociopath]].
* EvilAlbino: Downplayed. He has pale skin and white hair, yet has brown eyes, which is atypical of a normal albino. Nevertheless, Ernst is still a mentally unstable SerialKiller.
* {{Expy}}: Of [[Anime/JoJosBizarreAdventure Yoshikage Kira]], being a seemingly normal man, who ''also'' happens to be a SerialKiller whose WeaponOfChoice happens to be bombs.
* FaceFramedInShadow: The upper portion of his face is usually shrouded.
* FauxAffablyEvil: He comes across as a normal man to most people, though in secret he's an unrepentant [[SerialKiller Serial]] [[MadBomber Bomber]].
* FightsLikeANormal: Unlike most characters, he doesn't have any flashy gimmicks, instead opting to, if his opponent is close enough, stun them with a taser or [[GroinAttack kick them in the balls]] and run to gain distance.
* ForTheEvulz: He finds murdering people to be both thrilling and therapeutic. That's his motive.
* KnightOfCerebus: Compared to everyone else Mr. Smoothstar has fought, Ernst Friedrich is ''actually'' malicious and means to cause harm to him and others.
* MadBomber: His WeaponOfChoice happens to be bombs.

* ArchEnemy: [[TheEeyore Isadis Losch]], as Gerardo sees [[InelegantBlubbering his]] [[TheAlcoholic mannerisms]] more insufferable than [[CasanovaWannabe Bradora's]].
* AxCrazy: '''Exaggerated'''. His reason for [[OmnicidalManiac wanting to kill everyone]] is because a bus made him late once.
* BeenThereShapedHistory: In his backstory, he forced a tailor to make the cowboy hat under threat of death. [[KickTheDog He killed the tailor anyways and sold the blueprints to another tailor]]
* BewareTheSillyOnes: Beneath his childish and goofy personality lies an incredible fighter.
* BreadMilkEggsSquick: His ideals are performing double backflips, eating a balanced breakfast and the enslavement of all life.
* TheBully: His [[TakeOverTheWorld goal aside]], he acts like a petty bully towards his fellow party members, his favorite target being [[TheEeyore Isadis Losch]].
* ConfusionFu: His general fighting style. Despite being a necromancer, a lot of his moves have to do with looking really flashy (i.e. Using double backflips, slide kicks, etc).
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: The only one he seems marginally less cruel to is his frog familiar, Chef Luciani. That said, he usually uses Chef Luciani as a projectile.
* {{Expy}}: Design wise he resembles [[Franchise/FinalFantasy Sephiroth]] (save for the green medieval suit and cowboy hat), motive wise however, he's a parody of [[Anime/DragonBallSuper Zamasu]].
* FreudianExcuse: Parodied. His motive, as stated above, was because a bus made him late to something.
* {{Jerkass}}: A lot of his actions have to do with making [=NPCs=] or his fellow party members lives harder (most of this has to do with physically assaulting them).
* KnightTemplar: As per being a Zamasu parody, he, for some reason, believes he's doing the right thing by killing everyone. He never elaborates as to why he thinks it's the right thing, however.
* LightIsNotGood: He is a [[OurAngelsAreDifferent Fallen Aasimar]] and his clothing (Olive green being the dominant color) is generally bright and colorful.
* MakeThemRot: One of his abilities has to do with giving his target necrosis. He used this against a bear enemy.
* NeutralEvil: His canon alignment. He borders on ChaoticEvil[=/=]ChaoticStupid, though.

! Bradora Bigtits
* AssholeVictim: In her backstory, her parents kick her out of their house at an unusually young age...because they found out about her being a [[ProfessionalKiller hired hitman (hitwoman?), usually targeting failing relationships]].
* BlackComedyRape: Her character revolves around this and {{Squick}}. Whenever an [=NPC=] rejects her uncomfortably strong sexual advances, she just has her way with them anyways. As of late, the only one who's had ''consensual'' sex with her is Isadis.
* CasanovaWannabe: Female example; as stated above, her uncomfortably strong sexual advances tend to scare off [=NPCs=]. Played with, however, considering even ''then'' she has her way with them, just [[BlackComedyRape not consensually]]
* ChaoticEvil: She goes around raping literally every male she comes across, save Gerardo ([[ConfusionFu not for lack of trying, mind you]]).
* DarkIsEvil: Being a [[OurDemonsAreDifferent Tiefling]], she's met [[FantasticRacism with prejudice and caution...]] [[SubvertedTrope and they]] [[SerialRapist aren't]] [[ChaoticEvil wrong]].
* DoubleStandardRapeFemaleOnMale: A lot of her sexual predation is PlayedForLaughs.
* HotAsHell: Despite being a shameless rapist, this isn't to say she isn't attractive, she just comes on ''uncomfortably strong''.
* NotIfTheyEnjoyedItRationalization: Her main argument [[KickTheDog to her victims]].
* TheOldestProfession: Her job as of late.

!Isadis Losch
* TheAlcoholic: He spends most of his time either crying or drinking.
* ButtMonkey: In a meta sense, he has gotten the most bad rolls in the game. He also gets bullied by Gerardo very frequently.
* FlatCharacter: Due to him spending most of his time either crying or drinking, not much development on his character can be made.
* TokenGoodTeammate: That said, this also makes him the most morally upstanding character in the party.

* NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist: The only reason he wishes to revive Cinder Block Chris' race is so he could use them as servants.

* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: A constant victim of this. [[MilesGlorosious Despite what he'd have you believe]].

* FaceOfAThug: Many people preceding her boss fight try to warn Chris that "a woman with a yakuza face is in there beating people up" and that he shouldn't go in just yet. However, after her boss fight and subsequent joining of Chris' team, she proves to be a dependable teammate.

* BerserkButton: Weaponry, [[DoesNotLikeGuns specifically guns]]. It's what gets him involved in the plot in the first place.
* BloodKnight: What he starts off as before he mellows out throughout the course of the game.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: He sees nothing wrong with murder [[HorrorHunger (even eating people)]] nor acts of violence, though weaponry seems to be a taboo to him. He's also a flippant MoodSwinger, sometimes going from [[UnstoppableRage vicious]] to calm in a matter of seconds. LoveAtFirstSight is also treated as normal for him, as his race was wired, both [[BizarreAlienBiology biologically]] and psychologically, for procreation.

** To [[TheMedic Pill Packet]]. Pillpacket is [[NervesOfSteel composed]] and has [[HundredPercentHeroismRating rather good publicity]], whereas Chris is [[LargeHam dramatic]] and [[HeroWithBadPublicity tends to rub people the wrong way]] [[BloodKnight with his antics]].
** To [[EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep "Karate Waifu"]]. Both have similar honor bound codes of conduct for combat and are very proficient in what they do. However, "Karate Waifu" is stoic, reserved and professional, whereas Chris is capricious, eccentric and [[MoodSwinger all over the place]].

** To a lesser extent, [[FriendlyNeighborhoodVampire Radical Nick]]. Chris has no qualms about consuming his enemies for [[CallAHitPointASmeerp stamina]], Whereas Nick made it a point to not eat ''humans''.

* InterspeciesRomance: With "Karate Waifu" by the end of the game, though he [[LoveAtFirstSight had strong feelings about her since he met her]].

* LoveAtFirstPunch: Played with. In his relationship with "Karate Waifu", he grows immediately attached to her after their first fight. Throughout the course of the game, however, she does eventually warm up to him.

* NiceGuy: Unlike [[DeadpanSnarker Border Patrol Jack Maverik, GSD]], he comes to view Chris as a friend almost immediately and treats him as such. He also has ''quite'' the reputation as one, too. Downplayed, in that he's nice to Chris because he's the only one of the main team that he finds bearable or trustworthy.

* WorldsStrongestMan: Even rivaling that of Cinder Block Chris, because while Chris is strong in his own right, Pill Packet has both experience on Earth ''and'' basic common sense.

* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: A constant victim of this. His roommate is stronger and more charismatic than him, Cinder Block Chris, the de facto leader of his team, is a superpowered alien, his rival-turned-girlfriend [[MagicalGirlfriend has magic]], and his other rival is the top ranked vigilante ''in the world''.
* ArrogantKungFuGuy: Rare heroic example. While Smoothstar is an adept fighter, he mistakenly attributes it to his own strength rather than his [[CombatPragmatist pragmatism]].
* BloodKnight: Like Chris, he enjoys fighting criminals. However, it isn't cultural like Chris, rather it's so people know his name.

* ClassicalAntiHero: Played With. He's a rather competent vigilante, but outside of that life, he's a total ''loser''.
* CombatPragmatist: A lot of his attacks have to do with him being afar and using his signature taser gun. And even then, he's not above throwing pocket lint in peoples eyes, punching them with his taser ''gloves'' and [[GroinAttack kicking them in the balls]].
* {{Expy}}: [[InvokedTrope He actively emulates several people from other video games]].
** His design is reminiscent of [[VideoGame/GodHand Gene's]] outfit (that is, if Gene's outfit was from a thrift shop).
** A man in blue with an energy (or electricity, in Mr. Smoothstars case) gun. [[Franchise/MegaMan Where have I seen this before?]]
** He's ''also'' one of [[VideoGame/NoMoreHeroes Travis Touchdown]]. Both are low ranked [[ProfessionalKiller (Whatever kind]] [[VigilanteMan of criminal occupation)]] [[HunterOfHisOwnKind who aim to fight others of their own]] to move up ranks.
** The only one he ''doesn't'' actively emulate, but is reminiscent of anyways, is ComicBook/ScottPilgrim. They're both nerdy {{NEET}}s who live with someone who is better than them with an [[GenkiGuy energetic disposition]].
* FragileSpeedster: He is the fastest moving on the team, the only downside is he can't take a hit at all.

! "Karate Waifu"

* AllAsiansKnowMartialArts: She's from Japan and she claims to have come from a far off village that studies martial arts.
* ArtisticLicenseMartialArts: She's ''called'' "Karate Waifu", but she does a bunch of martial arts ''looking'' moves, a la Asian martial arts movie protags.
* AwesomenessByAnalysis: She can analyze her opponents weaknesses as she continues to fight with them. Gameplay wise, her boss fight gets increasingly hard as the fight goes on.

* BountyHunter: Her job description. She was spotted by Chris while she was on an assignment, too.

* AxCrazy: Downplayed. She's [[TokenEvilTeammate (loosely)]] on the side of good, but has no qualms about consuming random people for strength. Her fighting style is also ''noticeably'' more feral than the rest of her companions.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: The reason she starts to follow Chris is because he freed her from containment under the false belief she was an alien held captive.

* VoluntaryShapeshifting: In the way the [[{{Franchise/Terminator}} T-1000]] would do.

* BadassGrandpa: Played with; Chris is 80 years old on ''his'' planet, though on earth he's 16.

* CloudCuckoolandersMinder: Along with [[ByTheBookCop Border Patrol Jack Maverik, GSD]] [[FunWithAcronyms (Get's Shit Done)]], he shows Chris how Earth is ''really'' supposed to work, without bad examples like [[VegetarianVampire Radical Nick]] or [[BigBad Gerardo]].

! Radical Nick
* BadassGrandpa: Played with, he's technically 101, being turned into a Vampire when he was 18 years old. Vampirism apparently has its perks because he's just as energetic and spry as he was when he was 18 years old.
* BloodKnight: Subverted, when he saw Chris fight on the beach, he decided to fight along side Chris. Not because he specifically enjoys fighting, but because he figured it's something Chris liked and decided to try to be his friend.
* ChaoticGood: His canon alignment. Radical Nick is the classic 80's romcom example of ChaoticGood, with his ThrillSeeker LoveableRogue JerkWithAHeartOfGold persona that he puts on.
* {{Expy}}: He was created with [[{{Film/TheLostBoys}} the vampires from The Lost Boys]] in mind, with differences being he's generally goodhearted and he's a surfer instead of a biker.
* FishOutOfTemporalWater: [[FridgeLogic For some reason]]. He speaks in 1960's slang, despite hanging around quite a few people near the beach he resides in.
* ForHappiness: The reason he isn't murdered on sight like the rest of his kin is that he's generally looking out to give people a good time on the beach he resides by.
* HiddenDepths: When faced with real danger, Radical Nick becomes extremely cautious and deliberate, eschewing his loud and abrasive personality. Furthermore, he readily lays his life on the line for people he cares about, as the reason he became a vampire in the first place because the vampires gave him a SadisticChoice, either him or his little brother.
* HotBlooded: He usually speaks in a loud, TotallyRadical tone of voice.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He comes off as a {{Troll}} who finds it hilarious when Chris gets stuff wrong, but he's also been loyal and dependable to his team.
* ThrillSeeker: Implied. Water is a debilitating weakness to vampires, yet he's a regular surfer.
* TotallyRadical: As per his name, he speaks in 1960's slang.

* OnlyKnownByTheirAlias: He's either known as "MAXIMUM PAIN AND BODILY HARM JONES" or "JONES", both of which come from his band name.

* DarthVaderClone: Played with. He's first and foremost a Doctor Doom clone, but, considering both Doom ''and'' Vader precede him, he also counts as a Vader clone. Though, what separates him from both of them is that he's more [[TheBerserker overtly wrathful]] than [[TranquilFury internally]].
* Determinator: One of the reasons he doesn't get flattened by Ken Blast! like almost everyone else.

* TheDreaded: Invokes this with the vigilante community for being a cunning inter-dimensional criminal, and with Jazz, who is ''very'' familiar with demons.
* EvilCounterpart: To Mr. Smoothstar. Both are arrogant, childish criminals (in their own sense) who wish to climb their way to the top through violence. However, while Mr. Smoothstar has never killed anyone, Sarlic ''is'' willing to kill ''trillions'' for a little street cred.
* EvilIsPetty: ''Why'' does he want to destroy the universe? For, what is essentially, inter-dimensional street cred.
* EvilOldFolks: He looks like he's in his early 60's.
* {{Expy}}: Of [[WebVideo/YuGiOhTheAbridgedSeries Melvin]]. Both of them are very outwardly violent and deranged, both the resident PsychopathicManchild and they're both the [[KnightOfCerebus first legitimate threat in their respective series]].
* KnightOfCerebus: Played With. He's the only antagonist that's actually a villain, and the only active threat that Mr. Smoothstar's fought. However, he's still a comical PsychopathicManchild whose true motivation is to be cool.
* OurDemonsAreDifferent: Demon is a general term for inter-dimensional criminal, and anyone can be one. Sarlic, while being a well-known criminal, is ''still'' a low-ranking demon.
* PsychopathicManchild: He sees destroying an ''entire universe'' as a quick way to be cool.

* RedOniBlueOni: The [[ConfusionFu hard-to-read]], [[GenkiGuy 138%]] Red Oni to Stronk Monkey's [[NervesOfSteel calculating]], Cherry's [[DeadpankSnarker snarky]] and Short Circuit's [[MartialPacifist pacifistic]] Blue Oni. However, he also plays the Blue Oni to Nathalie's [[CloudCuckooLander even harder to read]] Red Oni.

* DeadpanSnarker: Most shown in his interactions with [[ArrogantKungFuGuy Ken Blast!]] or [[GenkiGirl Nathalie]]. However, his snarkiness becomes more venomous and sour with the likes of [[YourCheatingHeart Eve]] or [[KnightTemplar Andrew Matthias]].

While they're both skilled, Jazz underestimated Mr. Smoothstar and resorted to using only two moves, leading to her downfall, whereas Tugboat Boris ''overestimates'' him and goes all out, and Mr. Smoothstar is ''only'' able to win due to having slightly more stamina than him.

* CloudCuckooLander: His house is a boat, he fights with pliers and a hammer, claims he's from Antarctica, he also assumes Mr. Smoothstars name is "Butt Jones".
* CombatPragmatist: He actually ''averts'' this, seeing as he actually doesn't ''need'' to be a pragmatist. He's just ''that'' good.

* FightingIrish: Though he constantly claims he's from Antarctica.

** To Mr. Smoothstar.
