** Creator/DonnieYen could had been added to the cast due to an agreement with a Chinese distributor, but it fell apart and it was never heard again. Still, Yen was personally approached for the film, but although he felt flattered by the offer, he did not like the role he was being offered and declined it. Interestingly, he toyed for a time with the idea of producing an all-Chinese ''Expendables'' movie with Creator/JetLi, Creator/JackieChan and many other stars.
** Speaking of Creator/JackieChan, he was also approached for the film, but he had to decline due to scheduling conflicts.
