Trivia tropes can't be averted.

* NoDubForYou: Averted. At first glance, it seems that despite the very Japanese setting of the show, the series doesn't have a Japanese voice track, while other Asian countries do have at least one dub track, such as South Korea, Taiwan and India. However, the Japanese dub is available on Netflix if you use it through a browser on desktop but may depend on region if you view Netflix through your TV set. The voice actor for Yuichi Usagi is Kengo Takanashi, also known for Link in both ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaBreathOfTheWild'' and ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaTearsOfTheKingdom''.

Fixed the misinfo about the dub, but some of the old info can be kept in (I don't know what region the previous editor watched Netflix in, or if it was a random rip or something and that's why the JP dub wasn't there). Added more fun trivia, including more art crew I noticed while watching the first time (there's probably more familiar names if I go over it again.)

* NoDubForYou: Despite the very Japanese setting of the show, the series doesn't have a Japanese voice track. This is a little bit weird, considering other Asian countries, like South Korea, Taiwan and India, did get dubs in their own languages.
* RoleReprise: Miyamoto Usagi was voiced by Creator/YukiMatsuzaki, who played him in ''WesternAnimation/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles2012''.
* SelfAdaptation: Creator Creator/StanSakai serves as an executive producer of the series.

** Series art director, Khang Le worked on ''{{Motorcity}}'', ''WesternAnimation/BigHero6TheSeries'', ''WesternAnimation/MaoMaoHeroesOfPureHeart'', ''WesternAnimation/RiseOfTheTeenageMutantNinjaTurtlesTheMovie'' and ''Anime/Promare'' and other animated properties in various capacities, either as background designer, layout artist, character designer or art director.
** Visdev artist Tom Perkins has made monster and other character designs throughout the 90s up til now, such as ''WesternAnimation/MenInBlackTheSeries'', ''WesternAnimation/BigGuyAndRustyTheBoyRobot'', ''WesternAnimation/Ben10'''. He’s a big kaiju fan so you can guess three times what he designed for Samurai Rabbit.
** Supervising Producer Ben Jones might be familiar to many as an artist and producer on previous projects, such as ''WesternAnimation/SWATKats'', ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitans2003'', ''WesternAnimation/ElTigreTheAdventuresOfMannyRivera'', ''WesternAnimation/Ben10AlienForce'' and ''WesternAnimation/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles2012'' (director and storyboard artist) and many DC projects as producer, such as the ''WesternAnimation/DCNation'' shorts, ''WesternAnimation/DCSuperHeroGirls2019'' and ''WesternAnimation/BatmanVsTheTeenageMutantNinjaTurtles''.

series. This meant that he got to go over every script, design, storyboard and any other piece of work before it went into production.
* The concept of the series and especially the build up to the season 1 finale and season 2 are based on Stan Sakai's stand-alone Usagi book, Usagi Yojimbo: Senso. Episode 8 of season 2, "Eggs!" even references this in the title because the martians in the book land in egg-shaped ships and are called eggs at first. The Makkine are partly inspired by the 1984 anime anthology ''Anime/RobotCarnival'' which the art crew used as research inspiration. (You can listen to this trivia in the Comic Book Couples Counseling podcast episode where they interview Stan, art director Khang Le and showrunners Candie and Doug Langdale - on CBCC: [[https://www.comicbookcouplescounseling.com/post/stan-sakai-samurai-rabbit-interview]] or youtube: [[https://youtu.be/_Fz8uo0RGyo]] )
