This can be partially attributed to how it is the only parody off of any of his albums that was not based off a hit song. Al thought that the song and its movie of the same name, ''Film/RuthlessPeople'', were going to be hits in the summer of 1986. The film did well, but the song flopped, only getting as high as #51 on the Hot 100. Since he already asked for and got Music/MickJagger's permission, he felt he was still obligated to include it on the album. It's also one of a few songs that he's never performed live once, a list that mostly otherwise consists of songs are difficult to perform live.
