They went as far as to get the original voices for [[WesternAnimation/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles1987 the 80's Turtles]], Creator/CamClarke, Creator/TownsendColeman, Creator/RobPaulsen, and Creator/BarryGordon[[note]]though within the same time period, the four also reprised said roles in a greater capacity for ''VideoGame/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtlesShreddersRevenge'', which was released only 10 days after the first game game's voice acting patch[[/note]]. It's especially notable in Michelangelo's case, as ''Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis'' featured him with his voice actor from [[WesternAnimation/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles2012 the 2012 series]], Creator/GregCipes.

* TeasingCreator: Thaddeus Crews, the Discord manager who's known for [[JustForFun/OneOfUs being a big Garfield fan]], referenced [[https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/huh-i-wonder-who-thats-for the "Huh. I wonder who that's for." meme]] [[https://twitter.com/Repiteo/status/1466830814990188545 a few days prior to]] the latter's official announcement as a playable character.

Jimmy and Raphael would get added to the second game as playable characters.
