* TroubledProduction: In December 2019, a few weeks after the ''Fragtime'' OVA aired in theatres, Gen Sato tweeted out that Tear Studio hadn't paid him his work on the movie. Several animators chimed in to state that they also hadn’t been paid for their October invoices and were unable to contact the studio. Soon after, it was discovered that the Tear Studio website had mysteriously disappeared, and a few weeks later it was confirmed that Tear Studio filed for bankruptcy. Besides the unpaid animators, this meant there was a time period where no one could watch Fragtime after its theatrical run completed. Although the OVA was eventually brought to Bluray and DVD, it's still currently unclear as to whether everyone who worked on the movie was properly compensated.
