* BillingDisplacement: Creator/CharlesHawtrey was given fourth billing for a cameo role to appeal to his popularity in the American market.

* CastTheRunnerUp: Before being cast as Dr. Watt, Creator/KennethWilliams was originally cast as Sockett. Creator/BernardBresslaw later took the role of Sockett after Williams was recast, but was originally set to play Odbodd.
