* CowboyBebopAtHisComputer: There was a common misconception with the game of many people believing the game was actually {{freeware|Game}} on forums and other sites when pirated copies of the game leaked onto the Internet. The real story is that the game was never free and was being sold through Japanese online retailer that sold doujin games. It wasn't until 2012 that the game got an official release overseas thanks to Rockin' Android. A similar instance plagued ''VideoGame/RosenkreuzStilette'', and many Doujin games for that matter.
* FanTranslation: Back when the game was [[NoExportForYou Japanese-only]], fan-translation team Non-Direction Translations made an English patch for the original game. That all changed in 2012 when Rockin' Android officially localized the game but the patch is still available for those with the original Japanese version of the game (requiring rev.060916).
