He wrote the stories and/or scripts of some of his films, including ''Banana Joe''. His non-acting contributions to his films aren't that well-known because he was credited by his real name Carlo Pedersoli for everything that wasn't acting. After ''All The Way Boys'' in which he played a pilot, he got himself a pilot's license for both airplanes and helicopters, and in 1984, he launched his own airline, Mistral Air.
