It wasn't until 2017 that Anthony Barone entered the picture and the band started to pick up the pace with working on the album, but even then, it was ''not'' a difficult or conflict-ridden creative process, just a very deliberate one due to the fact that they didn't have a label breathing down their back about deadlines. When they finally signed a contract with Century Media in 2019 and got a release date for the following year set up, some of the material on ''Fearmonger'' was at least half a decade old.
