** Music/DavidBowie was approached to play one of the interrogators in the framing story, but respectfully declined. This ended up being fortunate, as his death came partway through filming (which was probably the reason he turned it down in the first place, being well aware his days were numbered and not wanting to stick them with that situation). Two of his songs, "Cat People (Putting Out Fire)" and "Under Pressure", still grace the soundtrack.

* DoingItForTheArt: According to David Leitch, Creator/CharlizeTheron spent three months of intensive training in firearms and stunts in order to perform as many of the film's stunts herself as possible. This, in a way, is another echo of Film/JohnWick in the film's production; Creator/KeanuReeves put himself through similarly intensive training to perform the stunts of that film himself. Charlize's training coincided with Keanu's training for Film/JohnWickChapter2, since they both used the same stunt teams. Having been good friends from past roles, they got into friendly competitions and even sparred together on occasion.

* FanNickname:
** "Jane Wick", both for Lorraine and the film itself, as this film and John Wick feature a highly effective and pragmatic assassin as the protagonist, revolve around secret societies, and have long action scenes that avert such tropes like ShakyCam and BottomlessMagazines. This is helped by the fact that this film's director, David Leitch, co-directed John Wick.
** "Jane Bond" is also becoming a popular descriptor for the movie and the character after the film's release since its story, setting, protagonist and romance have more in common with him than with the more action-heavy, plot-light Franchise/JohnWick films.
