Spader refuses to believe it and tries to stop the rocket that will bring it down, but is pinned by Farrow. He twists toward Bobby and pleads to him in tears to save the people onboard. Bobby realizes that he doesn't have it in him to let them die, not when it's about to happen right in front of him. Gunny ends up holding him back until the rocket launches.
