* The throne scene in ''The Battle of Deer and Lion'', in which [[VideoGame/FireEmblemThreeHouses Dimitri]] comes across [[VideoGame/FateGrandOrder Morgan]] on the verge of death as seen in actual canon. In spite of Dimitri's efforts, it ends up being too late. What makes this heartbreaking is that at this point, Dimitri, in spite of loathing the methods she used, fully understood Morgan as a person that he couldn't help but be [[UndyingLoyalty loyal to the very end.]] As if that wasn't too much, it's very clear that if Claude hadn't been a distraction, [[ForWantOfANail Morgan would have survived]] [[InSpiteOfANail instead of succumbing to her usual fate.]]

* A Fused Loop between ''Manga/Eyeshield21'' and ''VideoGame/KidIcarusUprising'' has Mamori in place of Medusa, much to Sena's horror. Luckily, it's his rant about what's going on that clues Palutena in to that he's Looping. In another Loop (3.2), a newly Looping Mamori has a major HeroicBSOD over a new sibling named Sena and the fact that everyone acts like she's always been there, even though Mamori knows she wasn't. Sora (who's actually Skynet in a human body), telling Hiruma that Mamori's feeling Loopy, allows Sena, Monta and Sora to go to Mamori's house and tell her about the Loops.

* [[WesternAnimation/CodenameKidsNextDoor Numbuh 1]] explaining to Numbuh 362 why he's permanently ended his relationship with Lizzie. To wit, even when the loops first began, he sometimes struggled to deal with her, but would still try to avoid breaking up with her or trying to make it work. Then came the Galactic Kids Next Door expansion, which revealed that, among other things, Lizzie's relationship with him was literally a mission, meaning that nothing about it was real to her. Numbuh 1 even despairs that, while he was a bad boyfriend and he knows it, at least his feelings towards Lizzie were ''real'', and yet he wasted so much time on someone who thought of him like a job.

** This is actually to prevent a more nightmarish scenario. If a person is born during a loop, then when the loop ended, they would vanish and never return. [[spoiler: This occured with Ranma's child, driving the poor man to tears.]]
*** [[spoiler: It's more heartbreaking. Ranma had just given birth to her child...and the loop reset just then.]]

* The activation loop for ''Anime/YuGiOhVRAINS''. For context, it takes place after the show ended, which was a massive tear jerker on itself, as Ai was ready to [[spoiler:commit suicide because Yusaku didn't want to spend the rest of eternity in Link VRAINS with him, and ended in an DyingDeclarationOfLove]]. The loop then goes and builds on Yusaku and Ai's already existing psychological issues (such as Yusaku's PTSD), which results in a scene were Yusaku accuses Ai of trapping them all in a simulation just so they could experience eternity together, because he doesn't want to wrap his head around the concept of time being reset. Several reviewers suggested therapy for the two of them after reading this.
* Rottytops's Awakening has a moment when [[spoiler: Nega Shantae]] shows her some of Shantae's less then flattering memories of her. This is even more painful then normal because Rotty ''doesn't realize'' they happened because Shantae has been trying to avert the moments happening.

* In the first [[http://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/mega-loops.281489/page-11 Mega Man loops discussion thread]], there is a massive Tear Jerking moment. Based on the baseline events of X, Dr. Wily was the creator of the Maverick Virus. When X meets Dr. Wily, X might vaporize Dr. Wily because of a simple fact. [[spoiler: Because the Reploids were created from X, he was technically their father. Sigma was a fifth generation model, technically a fifth generation child.]] X explains the part he truly hated about Dr. Wily's virus.

** Claude's own realization of why Dmitri is so absolutely, murderously furious with him afterward just adds to it.
