** The background music during the whole scene, particularly when the hand-looking monstrosity emerges, is equal parts gut-wrenching and horrifying. It starts dissonant, as if to signify the fusions struggling to establish a harmony with their component shards, and once the big one takes form, it begins sounding like the wails of agony. In other words? The music tells us ''they're suffering and desperate for help''.
