** The second case drives Lucah to the brink of tears on several occasions. The fact that both the murderer and victim were among her favourite characters in the game was bad enough (especially since she was one Free Time Event away from reaching the maximum support level with the victim), but the moments leading up to, during, and following the execution only make things worse for her, as the couple that she had been {{shipping}} for the entire game up to this point was confirmed in the most tragic way possible. Notably, unlike most of the previous game's executions, or the execution in the first chapter, Lucah is [[StunnedSilence nearly incapable of speaking as she watches the killer's execution take place]].

** Her reaction of utter despair upon the reveal of the true antagonist of [[VisualNovel/PhoenixWrightAceAttorneyDualDestinies Dual Destinies]]. She was having her doubts prior to the big reveal, but when the line "So I lowered my emergency ladder like the detective leading the case told me to." landed, it hit her like a ton of bricks, leaving her sickened about having fell in love with that character, and once again, getting the wool pulled over her yet again. It's a feeling of despair not unlike the reveals she experienced in the ''Franchise/Danganronpa'' games.

* The ending of the 57th episode of ''VideoGame/SuperPaperMario,'' which covers the final boss and ending of Chapter 7. The cutscene at the end of Chapter 7 is ''already'' known for its Tear Jerking properties, but Lucah just makes it worse. For one thing, there's her own [[GetAHoldOfYourselfMan emotional reaction]] to the scene; the fact that [[spoiler: Luvbi was not the biological child of Jades and Grambi, and resents finding this out]] hits especially close to home to her, being an [[HappilyAdopted adopted child]] herself. Instead of her usual goofy ending slate music, she instead goes with a LonelyPianoPiece.

** Her reaction to [[spoiler: Mia Fey's death]] in {{VisualNovel/Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney}}.
** Her reaction to [[spoiler: Terry Fawles's death]] in ''Trials and Tribulations''.
** Her reaction to [[spoiler: watching Kay Faraday the first time since she lost her memory]] in [[VisualNovel/AceAttorneyInvestigations AAI2]].

** Her reaction to Chapter 2's trial - specifically, her realization that [[spoiler:Mondo, one of her favorite characters and the only one she's fully befriended]], is the killer, and having to prove their guilt. After she spends four free-time periods at the beginning of the chapter solely to befriend them, she slowly realizes they're the only real candidate left as the trial continues, until finally, they make a slip-up in their dialogue that proves her suspicion beyond a doubt. She spends most of the final episode of the trial saying "oh no" repeatedly, asking why they would do such a thing, and having her heart broken at [[spoiler:Kiyotaka's]] desperate attempts to defend them.

** Not helped by the fact that the end of the trial reveals [[spoiler:[[SympatheticMurderer Mondo's]]]] heartbreaking secret and that their murder was completely unpremeditated, and they barely even attempt to defend themselves and express nothing but remorse and self-loathing for their actions, and that [[spoiler: Mondo moved Chihiro's corpse largely just to honor the dead boy's secret]]. No wonder she almost sounds as if her voice is faltering a little towards the end of the episode.
** She's absolutely devastated when [[spoiler:she finds Kiyotaka's body]] at the end of Chapter 3's Daily Life section, as, like the aforementioned [[spoiler:Mondo]], she had become very attached to the character [[spoiler:especially in light of his HeroicBSOD following Mondo's execution, and had repeatedly expressed concerns that something bad was going to happen to him in the episodes leading up to his murder.]]
** Chapter 4 is essentially a non-stop gutpunch for Lucah, as [[spoiler:she discovers that Sakura, who was arguably her favourite character in the entire game, turns out to have been TheMole for the Mastermind since the very beginning (for sympathetic reasons). It only gets worse when this reveal causes half of the remaining cast to turn on Sakura, and Aoi gets attacked for trying to defend her, making her worry that something horrible is going to happen to either of them, just like Kiyotaka. When Sakura is found seemingly unconscious, [[HopeSpot she clings to hope that they can "fix" whatever happened to her]], and is completely heartbroken when it turns out that she's actually dead. It only gets worse when Sakura's (fake) suicide note is revealed, and when it's revealed after the trial that Hina was trying to get everybody, herself included, executed in a misplaced attempt to avenge her.]]

** The events of the end of Chapter 3's Daily Life hit her hard. [[spoiler:Her reaction to Hajime trying, and failing, to prevent the supposed broadcasted suicide is tough enough to watch, but when she discovers the second victim immediately after, she's stunned to the point that she ends the video immediately without her usual outro.]]
** Just like the second case, Chapter 4 [[spoiler:has both the murderer and victim be among her favourite characters, with the bonus points of sinking two of her ships and two other characters that she is especially fond of being devastated in the process. Then she realizes [[SomeoneHasToDie that the murder took place as part of]] a SuicidePact to save the other students, crushing her even further. Last but not least, the shots of Gundham's hamsters crying in the leadup and during the execution break her heart and push her over the edge.]]

* Continuing the trend, ''VisualNovel/DanganronpaV3KillingHarmony'' leaves Lucahjin feeling the despair in ''the first trial'' when she finds out that [[spoiler:Kaede Akamatsu, the DecoyProtagonist, is the culprit of the First Trial. She knew Kaede meant well and wanted to defend her so badly, but it wasn't meant to be. Her outro is understandably not at all cheerful, ending the video hanging at the screen that gives you Kaede's hairpin. The more depressing part? The episode featuring Kaede's execution got uploaded on ''Kaede's birthday'' of all days.]]

** Lucah breaking down during the third trial as it's revealed that [[spoiler:her favourite character/lust object Korekiyo was not only the murderer of ''two'' people, but ''taken'' in the [[BrotherSisterIncest worst possible way]].]]
** It gets even worse in the fourth trial. [[spoiler:Absolute sweetheart Gonta being the killer is bad enough, but the fact that he genuinely doesn't remember and doesn't understand what he did is even worse. Lucah spends most of the video freaking out and becoming more and more upset as the trial goes on.]]
