How much nicer everyone used to be.” You can really tell that Superman truly mourns the time when everyone was kinder to one another instead of more darker edge everyone but him has gained. It’s made all the more poignant by the fact that after seeing the sight, after getting a taste of what he could have again, he still doesn’t waver in his conviction to see the timeline restored.
