** Clarence letting the lizard go and Sumo eventually being happy for its freedom both double as SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments considering that the boys have been chasing it all day and Sumo trying to talk Clarence out of letting it go. The ending shows that they eventually put it in a milk carton, but still.

** You gotta give credit to Skyler Page and Creator/TomKenny for their [[SugarWiki/HeReallyCanAct performances, especially the former’s]], as Page was the first one to crack, and the fact that his crying actually sounded realistic in a few people’s ears. ''Good God.''

*** The background music that plays during the whole scene doesn’t really help either. It also doubles as NightmareFuel.

-->'''Clarence:''' (gasps) [[BigNo NO!!!]] (''screeches to a stop a foot away from Sumo, who is taken aback'') I-I can’t do it, Sumo. Lizards belong on the street, not in a lamp.

* "Lizard Day Afternoon": Not actually a TearJerker, but the chase’s final scene can be pretty emotional for some people. To sum it up, Clarence and Sumo finally catch the lizard on the [[ItMakesSenseInContext top of a building]], they start running towards each other so they can put it [[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext in a lamp]], until this happens:

*** While the lizard is walking away, it stops and turns around, seeing the bawling eyes of Clarence and Sumo. It may not have gotten emotional either, but still.
