* In episode 15, along with the clash, the soundtrack used in the first part of the battle between Yasha and Wrath Asura, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EK2Gi5_C8wY Bonds]] might sound familiar to [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Px62BhCfsQM He who Howls and Rages]] from ''NarutoShippudenUltimateNinjaStorm2''. Not only did Chikayo Fukuda compose both soundtracks, and CyberConnect2 made both games, but Bonds is even played during a fight in a wastelandish area similarly to He Who Howls and Rages.

* During the first Deus fight, [[spoiler: Yasha punching his energy stright through Asura to attack Deus without hurting Asura is a reference to Manga/JojosBizarreAdventure.]] Considering that Hiroshi Matsuyama in a recent interview for his new Jojo's Bizarre Adventure game states to be one of the biggest fans of the series in existence, it's not surprising.

** Both episodes 11.5 and 15.5 are basically seen as the anime equivalent of DragonsLair or SpaceAce, via the usage of traditional animation with button inputs put in. It can also be seen as the modern equivalent of the ''VisualNovel/Yarudora'' Franchise.
