Creator/{{Fox}} RealityShow carrying on Series/{{American Idol}}'s legacy of music competitions, and to fill a gap left by a ChannelHop to Creator/{{ABC}}. In short, at the beginning of each season, [[{{TitleDrop}} The Four]] initial hopefuls make their entrance, and from then until the finale, challengers try to appease the panel, and if they win them over, they choose a member of [[{{TitleDrop}} The Four]] to compete against, and if they win ''then'', they steal the member's seat. But if the ''member'' wins, [[{{CaptainObvious}} they win their seat back.]] Either way, the seat is locked until the next week.
