* BlackComedy: Episode 18 has an absolutely ''glorious'' scene in where Sentai Gear #15 (''Series/ChoujinSentaiJetman'') enacts a ShotForShotRemake of the finale of said series, including ''[[spoiler:Gai's death.]]'' While in ''Jetman'', it's played completely seriously, ''Zenkaiger'''s rendition of it is so melodramatic and absurd that it ends up becoming one of the most hilarious moments of the series.

Kaito is a NiceGuy who's a [[IdiotHero bit dense]] (nice), Zocks is an UnscrupulousHero who does keep his word (in-between, though he can lean on mean), and Stacy is a [[TheStoic stoic]] soldier who's aligned with the Tozitend, though he's quite as villainous (mean, but heavily leans on in-between).

* CerebusRollercoaster: ''Zenkaiger'''s wacky sense of humor often gets juxtaposed by genuine, heartfelt moments and emotional scenes. When it's not heartfelt, it dips into a more horror-esque tones as it delves into the lore.

* CrimeSpreeMontage: The evil duplicates of Zox and Kaito created by Copy Wald are shown going on a montage of crimes.

** One of the last episodes reveals there is a "Super Sentai Topia" suggesting that in addition to all these worlds there's also a world where EVERY Sentai has happened. It's also suggested that just because a ''Sentai'' team is the "main" team of that world doesn't mean some of the other Sentais don't exist in their world as well explaining some of the in series crossovers like in ''Zyougher'', ''Kiramager'' and ''Nininger''. This would explain why ''Denziman'' and ''Sun Vulcan'' both have their own "Topia" despite the shows needing to be in the same universe to work because of both having Queen Hedrian as a major antagonist.
* DenserAndWackier: ''Zenkaiger'' is this to the LighterAndSofter ''[[Series/MashinSentaiKiramager Kiramager]]'', with its far more outlandish characters (on both ends no less), absurd comedy, and overall propensity for bizarre occurrences thanks to the Walds. So far, the series doesn't really try to take itself too seriously, aside from the more serious moments that pop up (and even then, they tend to get MoodWhiplash soon after).

** Twokaizer uses the Geardalinger, a MixAndMatchWeapon that can switch between its gun and sword modes. It's also a tambourine, which while mainly used for his transformations, is also occasionally used to plant targets on his opponents for his anchor-shaped HomingLasers fired at the end.
